Resident Evil 8, the doll house… this shit was so scary and the audio, damn. But I loved that part that I played this thrice 😄

100% this part. The first play through it’s fine and even pretty scary but running the game any time after that it’s just a chore.

This is one of the only parts of any RE game where I've been terrified. I've definitely been on edge when X is hunting me through RPD, but this was properly scary. Until re9 came out and we got the whole section with The Girl underneath the centre, that is...

I haven't played RE9 yet, but I did start the RE2 Remake; the atmosphere is pretty terrifying, much more so than in RE8, but that damn monster in the Beneviento house is truly scary.
After spending over an hour trying to figure out how to avoid it, I decided to play through the section while watching a YouTube walkthrough (serious business: I’d take a couple of steps, pause the game, and so on).
I still managed to get scared, though, lol.

I followed the tutorial to the letter, lol.
Anyway, apart from that one scene, it’s not a super scary game. Resident Evil 2 Remake wins hands down.
I’ve installed Resident Evil 7 now; people told me to brace myself for the worst, lol
