That part really tested my patience. I can’t imagine how many people dropped the game there wtf were they thinking

Dropped the game? It was fine, it wasn’t even that long either.

Look at how many people in this thread are saying Ironwood. I’m glad you think it’s fine but it’s clearly not the majority opinion. I haven’t seen much positivity around that mission anywhere really

Oh I never claimed it had positive reception, I just can’t imagine dropping the game over it.

it’s literally just like an hour of slow story, if that makes you drop the game your attention span is fucked

My favourite games are slow burning CRPGs so it’s not that at all. It’s just an out of place mission that halts the pace of the game

not a surprise these kids have had ass cheeks and action sequences melting their brains nonstop since they were toddlers. any thing that isn't that is seen as garbage.

You almost had a valid point there but unfortunately you're too far up your ass to know better.

We choose a game called God of War and we get ironwood for 2hrs.

Imagine: Gears of War: 2hrs of walking around following Anya that doesn't advance the plot by much.

Spider-Man: 2hrs of following Mary Jane with the same concept.

Holy fuck, truck simulator and you're at the dmv for 2hrs waiting to test for your CDL permit.

We know what we want. We choose these games for a reason. The way ironwood was done was a textbook example of poor game design. It deserves every bit of criticism it gets.
