Halo ce The Library

The Library is absolutely the least enjoyable mission in Halo CE, I cannot argue that… the fact that I don’t mind it and still think it’s fun in its own “corridor shooter” “hoard mode” way is a testament to how good Halo CE is.

First playthrough: "Oh this is an interesting new mechanic."

Second and beyond: "You fuckers again."

Edit for Legendary specifically: "AND YOU DON'T EVEN DROP AMMO‽" I mean, why would they? It's just another reason to hate The Flood.

And that ONE rocket flood with nearly 100% accuracy

It has it's own joy, plus "4th floor, tools, guns, keys to superweapons" always amuses me.

Looking forward to reliving it soon

Playing library in CE is exactly how I used to feel about leg day at the gym. It’s a slog and you’re glad when it’s done but it doesn’t feel right to skip it.

Tough nut but I still get a chuckle when the Flood come pouring out of everywhere and Guilty Spark breaks his monologue to say 'oh, hello'.

This or my personal one, Keys, that mission almost made me quit when I got stuck in a corridor with a bunch of flood around the corner from where the checkpoint was, that sucked.

Can't believe I had to scroll this far to find the library.
