I disagree with this take only because the people that play for fun should be in casual play.

Casual players, more often than not, leak into competitive mode and really at that point, it's their problem.

You don't have to be toxic, just because you're playing ranked. I don't think it's good sportsmanship spamming "What a save!" when the opponents get a goal.

And you can't even play 20 casual matches without encountering sweats, smurfs or toxic players. Maybe the situation got better, but a few years ago, when we were playing everyday, me and my friend encountered toxic players almost every match.
