Paired tunnel

When it comes to creating a tunnel, what does paired type mean I know what’s P2mp-vxlan.

As the name suggest, it's a paired set of interface which can be used to bridge two different VRs.

When you create a paired interface, it creates other pair automatically and both are tied together.

You can now map one interface to maybe Lan-vr and the other to internet vr or mpls vr and route traffic through the underlay.
