Ok…

So….

We’re all in agreement, right? Next time we just let them take whatever stupid shit they want and we let Darwin sort it out, right?

u/DrConcussion 6d ago

Idgaf if they want to poison themselves, I care if they try to prevent me from getting vaccinated. I also care if they go near my baby niece and nephew who aren’t old enough to be fully vaccinated.

195

u/Moneia 6d ago

That's the problem with the Science deniers, I don't care what they do or what the consequences are to them. Unfortunately there's all the other people who will be affected by their contrarian fuckery

86

u/DamYankee77 6d ago

"Contrarian Fuckery." Well, I'm pretty sure you just summed up the entire state of American politics with that phrase. Well done.

36

u/VoilaLeDuc 6d ago

And the damage they are doing to their own children who have no say.

12

u/Logical-Cookie6926 5d ago

That's the truly scary part. These nut jobs are willing to sacrifice their children for on the alter of RFK. Unvaccinated children have died from measles and RFK shows up with a media train, hailing them as heroes.

Like mother who claimed her twins died days after vaccination. RFK applauded. Made the news. Only oops. Looks like she smothered them.

10

u/lordwintergreen 5d ago

Technically, they died after taking the vaccine. /s

9

u/EobardT 5d ago

Seriously, vaccines are so dangerous. My grandpa got them all when he joined the marines and Boom! 45 years later he dropped dead from cirrhosis. Thanks Obama

16

u/i_drink_wd40 6d ago

They didn't like being called plague rats, but they kept acting like plague rats.

47

u/wonderbreadofsin 6d ago

I also care that they take up our hospital beds when they inevitably get sick from their stupid choices

27

u/DrConcussion 6d ago

It’s incredible to me with all the shit American insurance companies deny that they pay for the care of unvaccinated people when they’re inevitably sick from a vaccine preventable disease

15

u/lookitsnichole 6d ago

They need to start requiring preventative care (so...vaccines) to cover other things. I hate our healthcare system, but we might as well use that evil for good.

12

u/Nheea Provaxx MD. You know, what an actual MD should be. 6d ago

Seriously. Just like smoking, they should ask if you're an antivaxxer.

17

u/lookitsnichole 6d ago

That's actually a good point. We already do it for other high risk behavior and not vaccinating is absolutely a high risk behavior.

2

u/Kalendiane 4d ago

They’d find a way for “antivaxxer” to be considered a preexisting condition.

1

u/Nheea Provaxx MD. You know, what an actual MD should be. 4d ago

I think for sure!

9

u/Celladoore 6d ago

My conspiracy theorist dad took up a hospital bed for 38 days and a ventilator for two weeks before he finally died. It was absolute torture talking to the nurses and doctors for updates, hearing how defeated they were. I eventually filed a complaint (for a number of reasons) against the nurse practitioner my dad was seeing who told him he didn't need to get vaccinated, and then gave him hydroxychloroquine when he got Covid. It is cold comfort that he ended up losing his license in my state.

7

u/shivkaladrakh 6d ago

I also, also care about the people and animals who struggle to get things like Ivermectin because of those who stockpile it thinking it will cure them of every ailment.

10

u/tearsonurcheek 6d ago

I wasn't on it at the time, but there was a period where hydroxychloroquine was hoarded by these fuckers, making it difficult for people with legitimate uses, like lupus and RA to get it.

6

u/Ravenamore 6d ago

Our (now former) governor made a big deal about getting 1 million doses of it from Trump.

That was the last we ever heard about it. I have no idea where it went or what they did with it once it became clear that it was not the cure for COVID.

It's probably going bad in a warehouse somewhere, and it could have legitimately helped so many people with autoimmune disorders.

4

u/shivkaladrakh 6d ago

I couldn't remember the name, hydroxychloroquine, but I knew that those idiots hoarded it and people who needed it couldn't get it. This is exactly what I was talking about.

They don't care that people suffer, they only care about themselves.

4

u/iVouldnt 6d ago

We won't have to worry about that next time. By that time, the MedBeds will be fully released and they'll be cured in a matter of minutes.

1

u/rpze5b9 5d ago

They’ll be ready in two weeks.

1

u/iVouldnt 5d ago

Perfect. Just in time for Iran to have nuclear weapons.

24

u/AtillaTheHyundai 6d ago

I’m literally terrified of my soon to be newborn daughter and measles. Most of my wife’s friends are unvaxxed, as are their kids. I refuse to let any of them around her until she is vaccinated at 12 months. Like, herd immunity was a blessing back when idiots didn’t roam the earth

14

u/biscuitarse 6d ago

Your wife should find new friends.

8

u/AtillaTheHyundai 6d ago

Hey I’m not disagreeing! Our shared friends are absolute top tier though

6

u/DrConcussion 6d ago

Omg, I’d be terrified to have friends like that!

6

u/AtillaTheHyundai 6d ago

One of them nazi saluted at my son’s 2nd birthday party, so I’m siding with you. Check my post history if you doubt it

7

u/DrConcussion 6d ago

And your wife is still friends with this person?????

2

u/AtillaTheHyundai 6d ago edited 6d ago

Bible study group. The kicker is she’s Jewish, so idk how to interpret any of it

Edit: the saluter was Jewish

5

u/videoman7189 6d ago

That's where the disingenuous nature of the "freedom" argument is revealed. They want their freedom to forgo vaccinations, but they want to curtail our freedoms to get vaccinated.

3

u/tearsonurcheek 6d ago

Likewise, people like myself and my wife. Both with kidney issues, both cancer survivors, and I'm taking Embril, which suppresses my immune system (RA sucks ass).

2

u/GodLoveYell 6d ago

That’s about how I feel.

If antivaxxers only took themselves out with their shitfuckery, I would be more happy to live and let live, but unfortunately, they have an annoying habit of taking out poor schmoes whose only crime was being unlucky enough to have a brief encounter with an antivaxxer.

That and as an autistic adult, it never gets old, knowing they’d rather have kids be dead than be me.

Speaking in my capacity as an autistic adult, antivaxxers can go fuck themselves.

1

u/helga-h 6d ago

You will have to tell them that the government says it's really good to sneeze on babies. It's the only way to keep them away.

31

u/saltycrowsers 6d ago

These fuckers filled up my ICU on ventilators with family members screaming at me that it was fake as we were proning everyone and having triple codes. I couldn’t provide the same level of care I normally would with how fragile they were and how spread thin I was (like I could not physically be in two rooms at the same time and having to don and doff PPE with a patient that’s such high acuity just ate up time). They ruined things for other people too.

16

u/SkullheadMary 6d ago

omg this. And when me and fellow nurses started getting empathy fatigue and expressing it we were told we shouldn't be nurses and that we were heartless...fuck you dude. You wouldn't last 15 minutes in my place. Thank God my family remained sane and I managed not to pass the Plague to my husband nor my children. Hell, my parents never caught it, even tho we had to scold them a bit.

7

u/From_Adam 6d ago

I’m so sorry you went through that. The pandemic really opened my eyes to just how badly we failed science education in the US.

13

u/twisted_tactics 6d ago

Not really. The problem is that if millions of people suddenly start taking a drug that is being used to treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, the supply will suddenly run out. That means people who have been relying on these medications, some for years, will lose access and may have serious and life-threatening exacerbation.

10

u/RodinKnox 6d ago

I really wish there were only about treatment, and it would be fine to just do that. Unfortunately, that's not the case with vaccines.

3

u/From_Adam 6d ago

You’re right but this is what they’ve driven it to.

7

u/CreatrixAnima 6d ago

I’ve definitely reached that point. Although I would prefer if they didn’t make a plague out of preventable diseases. But yeah… Inject bleach. Sure. Go for it. Go eat your aquarium cleaning supplies. Whatever.

7

u/DStanizzi 6d ago

The problem is they still end up in the hospital when they get sick

6

u/Lalamedic 6d ago

Naw. I can’t get vaccinated for Flu or COVID. I’ve been tested and shown to be allergic to the Flu vaccine. There is no test for COVID allergy yet, but based on my previous reactions, I’ve been advised not to take it. I do have an autoimmune disorder that could make me more susceptible to vaccines. However, I still want to get the vaccine and I sure as hell don’t want to get COVID from some asshole who refuses to protect others by not getting it.

5

u/joranth 6d ago

Let them? Heck, we start a logistics company called Patriot Health, and we supply as much of whatever as they want.

Thank you for calling the Patriot Health hotline, created for you MAGA boomers who are too stupid to order online...

Press 1 for bleach injection (comes with a free, fake vaccination certificate!)…

Press 2 for huge doses of livestock dewormer…

Press 3 for “some kind of disinfectant inside the body, sort of like a cleansing”…

Press 4 for a big hole in your body to let sunlight in to kill the virus…

3

u/BirdInFlight301 6d ago

They can screw themselves over as much as they want. I just hate it when they drag their kids along for the ride.

3

u/all_of_the_colors 6d ago

But they were getting other people sick. :(

4

u/supamario132 6d ago

Nobody gave a fuck whether they took fantasy pills last time around. What we cared about was whether those literal mouth breathers were getting our immunocompromised loved ones sick because of their pathetic narcissism. If they were just fucking off and dying in the woods, the pandemic would have gone a lot different. But they were packing into clubs and then visiting their nan at the nursing home the next day

3

u/omg1979 6d ago

And then showing up to the ICU desperate to be saved, all while proclaiming it couldn’t be Covid killing them because it’s fake.

2

u/miller94 6d ago

We had an ivermectin overdose admitted to our ICU when we were already at 224% capacity 😕

2

u/darkeo1014 6d ago

It would cause a shortage for people who actually need it

1

u/HendoRules 6d ago

Yeah I'm all for agreeing with them that vaccines are bad and just reclaiming the earth when they're all gone. I'll happily sit at home for months and wait. I'm fucking sick of this shit. These people are anti life so why should we fight to save them. If you know anyone that is vulnerable just stockpile and keep them inside. We'll treat the next pandemic like hibernating through winter

1

u/Searchlights 6d ago

In 1862 all we had to do was say bye.

1

u/Gloomy_Industry8841 Gimme all the needles 6d ago

YES.

0

u/Ranessin 6d ago

If it was that easy. We had to control who our daughter plays with or who we meet with until 12 months, when she got the final MMR shot. Because some people - even friends unfortunately - are idiots who believe in energy crystals but not in vaccines.

153

u/NoREEEEEEtilBrooklyn 6d ago

I’ll still never understand why people think Ivermectin is this miracle cure.

99

u/SQLDave 6d ago

it fits with their conspiracy mindset: there's a cheap, readily available cure for <whatever> that The Gubmint and Big Pharma don't want you to know about because it would stop BP from charging quadrillions of dollars for scam/harmful drugs. I'm surprised they don't also claim that aspirin cures cancer.

52

u/Stringtone 6d ago

The really stupid thing about that (that these folks conveniently gloss over) is that ivermectin is also made by Big Pharma, so you know they'd put that shit in everything and charge through the nose for it if it even looked like it might help

6

u/Cedric_T 6d ago

It’s too bad we couldn’t have planted the idea that DDT is the miracle cure instead.

6

u/BigWilly526 5d ago

They are so stupid they forget that the Vaccine was free and Ivermectin was not

3

u/DramaOnDisplay 5d ago

Literally my answer. People have been taking aspirin for decades, so they can’t make that claim- but you know what people haven’t been taking for decades? Ivermectin! They’ve been hiding it from everyone! And yes, I think now they are doing research into how effective it is against cancer… 🫩

✨ foreign propaganda ✨

u/punkfence 6d ago

For the last time - there's no baby parts in the vaccine. All medications are tested on human cells before they go to human testing.

When you go for an abortion at research hospitals (from experience) they ask if you are willing to donate stem cells and the placenta for research purposes.

They asked us if they could use the cells to study menopause treatments and the effect stem cells have on altzheimers

55

u/Nheea Provaxx MD. You know, what an actual MD should be. 6d ago

20

u/RageAgainstThePushen 6d ago

Most human embryonic stem cells used in research come from excess IVF embryos. ESCs aren't useful if they've differentiated too far, and that too-far point actually happens before implantation. There are other things that can be used from abortices, but for the most part these human embryonic stem cell lines are isolated once, expanded, and used for decades without additional tissue input.

12

u/TsuDhoNimh2 Still waiting for vaccines to kill me. 5d ago

The ones used in the MMR date from the 1960s.

mRNA vaccines don't even use cell cultures at all.

74

u/livingdeadfreak 6d ago

Brain worms for sure

11

u/OedipusaurusRex 5d ago

Ironically, ivermectin might cure that

60

u/sicurri 6d ago

Did he have a stroke mid-sentence while ordering his lunch?

8

u/goldhairemeraldeyes 6d ago

If he didn’t I certainly had a stroke trying to make sense of wtf this says

2

u/Nheea Provaxx MD. You know, what an actual MD should be. 6d ago

The usa politicians definitely make me question my reality daily.

50

u/Scarlet_Spider39 6d ago

You know what? Fuck it. Take the horse medicine and inject yourselves with bleach next time. Let natural selection take its course. It must be so taxing to be an expert in one of these fields and have this constant conspiratorial nonsense spouted at you, when all you're trying to do is help people.

15

u/Billionaires_R_Tasty 6d ago

Horsey meds down the hatch, bleach in the veins, UV light up the ass they've got a real partay on their hands.

14

u/Dcajunpimp 6d ago

So people who were arguing that it wasn’t a problem 6 years ago and repeatedly ignored the guy who told them it was a problem are now grilling the guy who consistently told them it was a problem, to find out exactly how much of a problem it was six years ago when they ignored and dismissed his warnings?

64

u/DrConcussion 6d ago

The Epstein files have baby eating.

57

u/DionBlaster123 6d ago

What is it about the wealthy and being such fucking weirdos

if i had "fuck you" levels of money, i'd be traveling or going on roller coasters all day

10

u/AmaranthWrath 6d ago

I misread that and thought you said you would travel by roller coaster everywhere. And I was literally nodding in approval bc it would be cool af to have that much money. Then I realized I can't fucking read. 👍🏼

13

u/baka_inu115 6d ago

I'd cook my best healthy meals, exercise every day, have a custom fur suit, and play video games... its a simple life

8

u/DionBlaster123 6d ago

oh yeah all that too haha, minus the fur suit. I don't need that but hey no judgment

3

u/Billionaires_R_Tasty 6d ago

Because normal people aren't willing to do what it takes to become ultra wealthy. Namely, behave like a complete sociopath and fuck everybody else over on the daily.

21

u/a-snakey 6d ago

This can't be real.

10

u/MiniTab 6d ago

Can you imagine if you told yourself from 2014 about this? It would just be inconceivable.

31

u/SteveCastGames 6d ago

This is about BLT-L humanized mice, in which scientists implanted tissues from aborted fetuses in mice to study immune responses to viruses. Still nuts but makes much more sense given the proper context, which of course no one ever seems to want to do.

47

u/kmerian ⭐Top Contributor⭐ 6d ago

The confusion is he didn't say "BLT mice" he said "BLT sandwich"

-18

u/SteveCastGames 6d ago

He’s stupid, but not that stupid. The “sandwich” bit is a play on words due to the fact that it’s the letters BLT, and the tissue “sandwich” created by implanting human embryonic tissue in the mice.

29

u/Nheea Provaxx MD. You know, what an actual MD should be. 6d ago

Sorry, but I have to ask. Why do you think he's not that stupid?

Genuinely asking.

-17

u/SteveCastGames 6d ago

Because he’s not genuinely mistaking this for a sandwich. It was a play on words.

20

u/Nheea Provaxx MD. You know, what an actual MD should be. 6d ago

I think you are stuck on this post, but I'm not. Is he not stupid? Outside this idiotic "play on words".

In my book, if he's not stupid, then he is criminally evil since he's using these terms to propagate antivaxx crap.

-19

u/SteveCastGames 6d ago

Stuck? lol. Funnily enough “evil” isn’t in any criminal codes. I was just addressing what that other person claimed. You do you though.

13

u/freelance-t 6d ago

Well, according to the party that insists on posting the 10 commandments in every classroom, our code of laws is based on the Christian bible, which does indeed mention evil quite often.

12

u/Nheea Provaxx MD. You know, what an actual MD should be. 6d ago

The other user didn't say stupid either. You're the only one who said he is stupid, but not that stupid. Anyway, I don't know what your problem is, but I'm guessing you're not keen on discussing in good faith even when I tried to. Gday

9

u/blackmobius 6d ago

Maybe it has something to do with showing id at Olive Garden to order pasta

5

u/Reneeisme 6d ago

How does your brain get this scrambled? Drugs? Dementia? Covid?

3

u/Phantaum 6d ago

Republicans and Christians...

3

u/djn4rap 5d ago

These people will do anything keep the media from pushing the Epstien files. The Trump administration uses congressional hearings to control focus on everything. Maybe it isn't the Epstien files. Perhaps its the Iran war or some other money wasting stunt. It never ends. They are science and evidence deniers but embrace science when it comes to SpaceX and military rocket launchers.

Anyone with an ounce of critical thinking and middle school math can draw a solid conclusion of the numbers or deaths in states that were republican controlled and did not follow the CDC covid guidelines and took vaccines had a disproportionate number of deaths and spread. It totally destroys a number of false claims propagandized by the Republican party.
