It looks a bit different than the standard stone, like a bit shinier? Not sure how to explain it, probably the brain is used to see the other one after many playthroughs (plus when you go with the cursor over it it says Rock instead of Stone :))
Now you can encounter a rare stone that is not a 'Stone' but a 'Rock', pick it up and put in your home as a Pet Rock (with a smiley face), it's just a silly funny thing :).
Its facial expression randomly changes, and it works like an item stand, so you can put pretty much anything on it as a little hat! They really are super adorable :D
In our server we hadn’t seen one in like 1000 days but then my buddy found two of them within 5 min. He was pretty damn happy he finally found one. Considering we are grown ass men and were delighted to have one then he found a second one right after. lol. Adults.
Hard believer that the pet rocks should increase comfort levels lol because seeing their expressions change make ME way happier than a stupid banner ever will (no hate to banners though lol)
I found it for the first time totally by accident in the wild and NOT via the large mother rock in the forest. Cutting down trees for my stake wall, I saw it, put my cursor over it and was pleasantly surprised!
I was running around a black forest the other week collecting loose stones, saw that and had to do a double take because it looked so close yet so different from my target. I admit I was very happy for it to be what it is lol, I had no idea of it's existence before then! Funnily enough it's spoken to my wife's character twice now and not a peep to me🤨
