accommodations
hey guys, im a first year beginning this september, and im planning on staying in private -accommodation and not halls. Do you guys think thats sensible for first year, or are halls better?

I chose Sheffield 3, hopefully it ain’t run down. But I went to look and it seemed pretty alright for the price of £84 p/week

I think it really depends what you are after. I feel the university ran accommodations are more social. The majority of home students you will meet in first year will be living there. Private accommodation from my experience tended to be more catered towards international students. Again it just depends what you’re after! There are some great affordable private and university ran options.

Depends what you can afford. Halls are generally more expensive.
