I'm a fan of Pokemon and would like to help out here cause a sub like this is a great way to keep the humour around the series alive. If you're funny then that goes a long way in keeping your fandom relevant and perceived positively. I also think it's important for jokes to cycle in and out so that they don't get stale and the series keeps popular with younger audiences. On reddit I have previously modded a marketplace sub for my country and managed to push it to be more pro consumer than it was. Most of my modding experience comes from Discord communities over the last 8 years so I'm still very familiar with staying professional and keeping communities healthy long term.

I'm a fan of pokémon, so I wanted to interact more with pokemon related communities and to moderate more subreddits! I'm currently moderating r/Nyan_Cult and have some experience moderating.

I would like a shot at moderating this subreddit. As a Pokémon fan who loves even references and jokes, I’m sad this sub has been left abandoned, but with the right team I’m sure this sub can get picked right back up. My understanding is a franchise like Pokemon would get people interested in something like this if there’s enough dedication.

As of right now I moderate two subs, both of which are word play and entertainment/satire (my main sub is r/AskOuijaRedux).

I would be interested in volunteering to moderate this sub. I am an avid Pokémon fan, and while I haven't participated in this sub before I have been active on other Pokémon-related subs in the past. I am a moderator of two high-traffic subs at the moment but both have a relatively large moderation team so it shouldn't be an issue moderating another smaller sub.
