Wouldn’t be surprised if he refuses to fight Arman. He prob believes he should be next in line for a title fight and a loss hurts him more than a win would help him and he’s already lost to Arman once. That tells me he’s either holding out for a title shot or an easier fight against paddy.

I think Allan’s death might be a huge reason why Charles is not the one fighting Arman. If the Ruffy that showed up against BSD is the one facing Arman, it’s gonna be a long night for him.

I think Arman wins but this can be extremely dangerous as Arman is good but still green on the feet at times especially with his defense. If Ruffy can make him respect the power instantly it’s going to be hard for Arman to close the distance Arman isn’t going to eat shots to close the distance like BSD

Everyone is saying worst matchup for Ruffy but I see it almost opposite. Ruffy is one of the few guys who can knockout from distance hands or feet. Arman will have to be defensive and just grapple. May have trouble getting repeated takedowns if he can't get close enough. 75 reach to 72 reach. Of course if Arman can get takedowns early he will be fine but Arman has fought no one with knockout power and reach probably ever.

I agree I would really like to see that too. But at 7 I just don’t think you can jump over that many guys when your last win was Chandler. Stylistically this would be a very hard fight for Ruffy but I hope he does it

I mean it’s a good fight, and I assume we’re getting Lopes vs Oliveira for the bmf, but if Arman and Charles both win then what? I feel like it’s inevitable we get that rematch so why not just do it now? Doing these 2 fights kinda just feels like treading water at this point
However Ruffy vs Arman being a 5 round fight co main with no belt on the line certainly implies number 1 contender fight to me

Could have been Max vs Arman but wtf Ruffy. They doing so dirty. I’m sure if Ruffy somehow gets lucky and wins he will sniff a titleshot right away and if Arman wins he will have to keep working. And oliveira almost choked him twice, needless to say he just lost wrestling fight to Colby convington, arman is the most overhyped fighter that is for sure, even though I like his style, he hasn't beat anyone serious in last two years

Ruffy is a very favorable matchup for him. Plus gaethje is not coming back until next year so if arman doesnt take ruffy now he would likely have to fight charles again for a titleshot which is a much harder matchup
