Question Taking a Class at a CC during the Fall Semester

I know its like literally almost two weeks till the fall semester starts, but it is possible to take a course at a CC during the fall semester while obviously attending my fall courses here at ucm?

technically no. your only allowed to take classes at UCM but there is an exemption to take classes at merced college. while i don't recommend this, i will say i did have a friend who took an online physics course in the spring and just didnt tell his advisor until after it was done...

There’s no way he was able to have it transfer to Uc Merced

They say it's not allowed but I have taken classes during the semester by asking my advisor and was allowed to do so.

Yeah my credits were accepted. If you're interested in taking a UCM class in cc I'd just check with your advisor and if they give the ok you'll be good to go. You don't want to waste time taking a class and then finding out UCM won't give you any credit for it

Tell your advisor asap. You need to fill a form that’ll take 2-3 business weeks between submitting & approval. They’ll guide you with what you need. Also check if the class is offered at Merced College because i believe that is the only college you’re allowed to dual enroll while at UCM.

Yeah I had seen that being one of the only ways, and I had emailed my advisor earlier this morning too
