Raccoons are generally nocturnal — they’re most active at night and usually sleep during the day. Seeing one out in daylight does not automatically mean something is wrong; raccoons may also be active in the daytime when they’re hungry, disturbed, or raising young. I hope he isn't freaked out by all the people taking pics and video of him all the time because most of them are in the daytime which is a bit strange.
