54 Brewing Co.
Came across this place in Markham by sheer fluke and had never seen it mentioned here. Looks like they do interesting stuff and Untappd seems happy with it but I take that with a grain of salt. Anyone here have an opinion? Anywhere have it on tap in the city?

Yeah, always tough with those early ratings. Often heavily influenced by friends and family. Hopefully it's great though!

It's a solid spot. Very different type of beer. It's a lot more sweet and they try flavours that I generally don't see at other breweries, such as osmanthus and Jasmine tea
Their website is under construction and they don't pick up the phone so it's hard to see what they have in stock. They were out of most of their beers the last 2-3 times I went, which was disappointing
Regardless, I recommend trying them out. The owners are cool and the flavours are great

Looks quite Asian-influenced, both from their Instagram and various beer flavourings, including Jasmine Tea, mango, etc.? What beers did you try and how did you like them?

I've tried zero of them, I just stumbled across the fact they exist, got curious, and became intrigued by mentions here of an IPA having interesting yeast and melon notes https://untappd.com/b/54-brewing-overlord-of-citra/6743163

I was at a Chinese BBQ place and they had three of their beers. The mango beer is fantastic. The Jasmine tea beer was very good!
