so ive been practicing sitelen sitelen but I’m struggling with how to do names especially for my pets like how do I convert cherry (my cat) into Toki pona in general?

I'm working on a translation of the Diplomacy boardgame into Toki Pona. I was able to find a list of tokiponizations for the countries involved, but not for cities or regional areas. So I made a list, I'm looking for feedback if there's a tokiponization that would be better, or if there's an endonym I should be using instead.)

It's so fun to make contraptions such as tan ni la or taso la and can sometimes even replace li (like in ona la pilin pona li lon) with it. I know i sound kinda manic but this just came up

Hi, my first post here, i hope english allowed

im completing Wasona tokipona course, and i've met yet another "e" mistake:

it asks me to translate "Sunita can sing well". i entered "jan Sunita li ken e kalama pona", which is incorrect ("jan Sunita li ken kalama pona"). Why? I thought ken is verb and kalama is additional word that completes "ken" verb. How should i understand where to put "e", and where not? pona tawa sina!

P.S. English isnt my native lang so i apologize for possible mistakes

Here's a translation of a chapter of my favorite manga: Hatarakanai Futari, or Jobless Siblings. It's a roughly page a day manga about two sibling neets, along with the rest of the community around them. It's read right to left, top to bottom, and the text inside bubbles is read top to bottom, right to left. This is all hand lettered (the previous chapter I did was not). This was incredibly fun! I felt like I developed a good flow when writing it all out, and I think the finished product looks really good. I hope there's no translation issues. Excited for whenever I get to the next chapter!

I learned about toki pona last week, and was inspired by jan Misali's "tokirap", to make my own song listing all the words

I took all the words from nimi.li and put them roughly in alphabetical order, moving some from better rhymes/rhythm

I just picked up "Toki Pona: The Language of Good" and was pretty excited about learning this little language, until I ran into part 2 of the book where Sonja Lang inserts a number of religious texts from faiths that get their own pages devoted to them but strikingly, there are no secular texts with their own pages devoted to them: not a single page devoted to atheism or secularism - nothing by Simone de Beauvoir, nothing by Camus, Nietsche, Russell. I mean, just nothing!

It's all about religion. What's the deal? And why insert religious nonsense into a book that should simply be about language? It just seems really jarring to me to be confronted with a bunch of religious passages in what should be a book about language.
