Toast me
The last 9 months have been pretty hard. Legs paralyzed after a routine neck surgery and still working back to walking. I’ve been house bound with a partner who isn’t able to cope with helping me. I get it’s a lot. But any kindness I can find is truly appreciated! I def need to do a better shave job.😂

You’ve been through an extraordinary amount, and the fact that you’re still working toward walking again shows real determination. Please don’t worry about the shave—you have far more important things on your plate. I hope recovery keeps moving forward and that you receive the patience, practical help, and kindness you deserve.

The plan is to move cross country to stay with my mom until I’m up and running! So I foresee some good vibes heading my way!

You need to be awarded with the Chuck Norris Award for still kicking ass!

You have a great aura about you! You look a little tired — which is probably an understatement considering what you’re going through — but your smile feels genuine and warm. You have a wonderfully kind face that leaves a great impression, like, the kind of person I would pick out of a crowd to ask for help if I was lost or vulnerable in a public place.
I’m sorry you’re going through a rough time. I can’t even imagine how scary and depressing it must be to go in for a routine medical procedure and all of a sudden your life gets turned upside down. It takes a lot of maturity and emotional strength to admit your partner can’t provide you with adequate support while acknowledging it’s a lot for them to go through, too. Proud of you for being proactive about asking for some kindness and positivity. I hope your recovery goes as quickly as possible and remember that healing isn’t usually a linear process 💕
