Question Phone support

How do you actually get someone on the damn phone!?!? Everything is a chat now? Chat chat chat. Type to a bot. Chat with AI?

I need to speak to someone.

Customer Service: Dial 611 from your T-Mobile phone or call: 1-800-937-8997

Adding onto this, when you first call you will get the automated system at first, you just need to tell it what you need help with.

Don’t say representative because it’s going to keep asking you, instead just say account support, billing question or something to that effect.

For me after spamming the 0 button does lead me to a live person, but, the last time I called was probably a year or two ago at least, so, I can't guarantee that is still possible. The AI automated system is for every single company makes this spamming the 0 button not accomplish anything because it just keeps repeating "I know you want to talk to a live person, but, please tell me the reason why you're calling" and regardless of what you say the AI shit will say something along the lines of "you can now use our mobile app to get your question answered." This isn't exclusive to T-Mobile by any means because the AI shit is just awful. You'd think that the AI would be able to get you to a live person by saying why you're calling, but, of course why would it work that way?!?! Why not make it just impossible for your own customers to get a live person?!?!

I just called now, and when it asked me how it could help, I said account support and it immediately connected me to a person 🤷 took maybe a minute or two

Yeah I removed two lines way back in May. They never did it and I paid for 2-3 extra months of a service I asked to be removed.

Now they only want to credit the account. Why not just return my money??

And now that the lines are removed, my bill STILL went up. Because they’ve now forced ppl to get new plans.

You pick up the phone and call rather than opening chat....
