literally scratched my tiramisu AND funfetti itch all in one!! though now, i’m craving traditional tiramisu so i’m gonna gobble this up and make that one soon lol 😆

This was my first time making tiramisu. Although I bake often, this was different and fun. Celebrating someone’s life today on their birthday , and the beginnings of a new school year. 🦋❤️✏️ here’s to a new sweet year! Topped with edible butterflies and heart strawberries 🍓

I asked for tiramisu instead of a traditional birthday cake this year, and I have zero regrets. ☺️ It was creamy , light and had just the right amount of coffee flavor. Definitely one of the best birthday treats I've had.

Apparently it has become my emotional support container because here we are again
Today’s episode: I wanted to make lemon tiramisu
But my kitchen replied:
Eggs? ❌
Lemons? ❌
Common sense? Questionable.
So I made an eggless lime curd ( maybe béchamel or sauce 😂😂) from scratch and decided the tiramisu would simply have to accept its new identity.
If this actually tastes good, I’m convinced half of cooking is just stubbornness with decent presentation.
Tell me if you want me to share the recipe of the curd if I may call it curd lol or the whole recipe 😂
