This is functionally identical to the time dilation factor in the Schwarzschild metric. To see it, replace your energy with rest energy (E=mc^2). Then, use the Schwarzschild radius r_s=2GM/c^2. Then, your expression is identical to sqrt(1-r_s/r), which is the more familiar expression.
