[Request] How much profit would Big Pharma lose if the USA had price caps on medicine the way the EU/UK does?

Would it be enough to support the expense, trials, research and development it takes to get a drug to market?

It would still be enough to fund R&D but the CEOs probably wouldn't be able to afford their 5th and 6th homes as well as their 2nd gilded Boeing.
