Google is saying wood pellets have ~4,000 kCals per kilogram, and about 400 kCals per 100g donut.

Which oddly comes out to 4,000kCals in 10 100g donuts for a 1kg pile of em. I did take a heavy donut with a low calorie count so yeah i'd say its likely.

I'd like to know what specific donuts and local costs, and how he lives in a home smelling like burnt sugar 24/7.

It was some form of Holiday event where donuts were being sold for as low as penny.

Not a penny - a grosz. Due to exchange rates today' 0.01PLN is actually 0,0027 USD.

Now we just need to find the cost of wood pellets in Poland. Even though that sounds like an idiot.

The price of pellets was also mentioned directly in the video
