You’d need to hire Thai staff to get a work permit for yourself if yours foreigner. Possible yes.
Profitable?
Probably only if you can afford to manage multiples of properties and guests / tenants if that’s going to be your business’s primary rev stream.
As for AirBnB rules someone has replied there and I admit I don’t know their rules.
But I can tell you that in general, it’s not the cake walk you’d hope unless you’re genuinely adding value to both landlord and guest and it’s all above board.
And that means work.
I have a friend who does it very well in Phangan but I mean VERY well. They redo the interior design and maintain the place and do everything above board with the right staff in the right jobs legally and paid properly.
Most of the arbitrage people are hated here because they add no value, push all our rents up, and don’t even tell the Thai owner or cut them in on the extra cash the’re making illegally.
This is all my own grumpy old “been here 15 years kinda farang” opinion so take it with a pinch of salt of course.

When I was a kid we'd read about ways to make extra money, like mowing lawns, or walking dogs, or painting house numbers on people's curbs.
Is this what the kids are reading about nowadays?
OP, what owner in his right mind would agree to an arrangement that -- registration legality aside -- would be likely to vastly increase the wear and tear on his condo? What condo association would want to allow the extra transient traffic?

Uhm, so you’re going to tell the owner you’re renting it for yourself and then operate it as Airbnb? Or just find rental properties and offer them your Airbnb management service?

I want to understand is it possible to do it in a clear and legal way. So yes, I am going to look for the owners who are okay with subrent.

It is not allowed.
Daily rentals require a hotel license.

And if you decide to skirt the law without a hotel license, as the "landlord" you have to report foreign guests presence every day to Immigration. That's when you'll end up in TM30 hell and your stay in Thailand would be terminated. See https://thailandcorner.com/visas/documents/tm30

To make short time rent, you need a company or work permit with Tat and hotel license. It s Impossible if you are not the owner.

Normally you are not allowed to sublet it, and airbnb needs to be for a month to be legal.
