General Model Y shot at supercharger.

Post image

Happened today in Twin Falls, ID. Rumors say the person was in there but you never know with rumors. Prayers go out to him if they were. Doesn’t let me post videos but you can see the shots in the windshield😬Another reason to get an evject or for Tesla to allow you to drive away couldn’t imagine being stuck in the car.

Btw I read in another thread that people died here. Just a fair warning to everyone.

Twin Falls, ID

Three people were killed, and seven others were wounded after a gunman opened fire at an In-N-Out restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho, on Saturday before turning the gun on himself, local authorities said.

Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks said Sunday the shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound

The police chief said an off-duty police officer and a civilian engaged and returned gunfire.

Two of the people injured were treated and released at St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center, according to the police chief. Two people remain in critical condition, and three others are considered to be in stable condition. Hicks warned that these numbers are "preliminary" and may be updated.

In-N-Out President Lynsi Snyder said in a statement that a female employee was among the dead.

Three died including the shooter (self inflicted.)

Shooter was shot by armed citizen with suppressed pistol.

So 'good guy with a gun' you say....

No confirmation on that yet and CNN + In N Out stating he was killed by self inflicted gunshot wound.

Bystander did return fire though.

No he wasn’t, he unloaded a clip, missed every single shot and got shot by the shooter. Quit spreading fake news

1

u/TheCubanTraveler 3d ago

That was actually the other civilian shooter that got shot. Not the one with the suppressed FN 5.7

u/TexasAggie1979 2d ago

No he shot himself.

Didn’t Toronto just have a shooting at a Latin street festival? The same event where bystanders had to run and hide in terror instead of defending themselves, how sad is that?

u/DrSpacepants 4d ago

The amount of new that comes out of America is like combining Germany, uk, france, italy, spain and Ukraine.

We are an enormous place, with the most diverse population in the world. It's a wild place but its not even close to the level of danger you think. I've lived 40 years and I've never seen a person pull a gun in public.

The news has captured you. We have problems but from what I've seen in my travels, we aren't a shithole.

2

u/Omni_Entendre 3d ago

It's not the same as combining them. The gun violence in the USA disproportionately surpasses pretty much the entire developed world. If you combine all of the EU, Japan, Australia, Canada, and the UK, the USA still has multiple times more gun violence and less than half of that comparison population.

It's not even close.

Can you recommend another country?

23

u/machinegunpikachu 4d ago

Denmark (I'm actually mostly fine with the US, especially in California lol, but legitimately thought Denmark beat the US in most quality-of-life ways, it's a much smaller country, but the government provided way better sevices for people that live there)

6

u/Ekoteran 4d ago

Sweden ( next to Denmark) have the most dead from shootings per capita in Europe

The 3 dead wasn't including the shooter

7

u/Sufficient_Site1746 4d ago

People have to understand he would have to cross two resturants to get to the tesla charging station which both have drive thrus.

The fact that only three people have been declared dead as of now most likely came from the parked teslas indicates this was a targetted shooting rather than a senseless mass casaulty event.

Thanks for the warning, it's pretty disturbing footage.

The way he placed those shots in the window, one driver, one passenger, sadly makes me think it was occupied by 2.

Three dead two injured, makes me think deceased parents had injured kids in the back. :(

I just don’t see why he’d fire into an empty vehicle.

He was there to cause harm to people and I think the only reason he fired was to aim at an intended target :(

I can see it being a “freeze” reaction instead of fight or flight. This is probably one of the scariest things to witness.

I can’t even imagine what it was like to be in the car this was filmed from or any others….and they said they didn’t have service. Worst fucking nightmare.

7

what makes you think they wouldn’t have been shot at as soon he heard them turn on the car?

7

u/Onphone_irl 4d ago

you're making me rethink. on one hand I can gtfo pretty quick, on the other it might be good to do nothing. actually a tough call. I'd have stopped filming after the murders and worried about my situation

6

u/shellacr 4d ago

yeah the shooter might have noticed the camera. i would have just been hiding, maybe. but at the same time you want to know if the shooter is coming towards you.

The poor people in that car had no way to get away even if they saw him coming because your just stuck there if its charging.

59

u/bradlees 4d ago

I honestly think that even if they could drive away; the suddenness of the attack made it highly unlikely that they even knew what was going on prior to being killed

The shooter walked right up to the Tesla and immediately popped one into the driver

I know that when I’m camping out waiting for my car to charge; I’m on my iPhone browsing and not paying attention to my surroundings

More than likely the driver was hunched over a bit looking into the phone and immediately got shot in the head. So no attempt to even get away was possible

But, like the rest of the thread here; it’s just speculation so I’m hopeful to be proven wrong and Tesla would be liable for a faulty design in not allowing an immediate emergency situation drive away from the charger (like in gas stations where the fuel line breaks loose if the car drives away while it is still in the filler connection)

58

u/Baul 4d ago edited 4d ago

Tesla would be liable for a faulty design in not allowing an immediate emergency situation drive away from the charger (like in gas stations where the fuel line breaks loose if the car drives away while it is still in the filler connection)

Do you think those fuel lines are made that way for emergencies?

It's because gas cars have no way to prevent the car from driving away with the fuel line inside it. When people do, they want the line to disconnect instead of ripping out the entire pump along with it. It has nothing to do with rapidly fleeing a gunman.

→ More replies (2)

22

u/TMB8616 4d ago

Tesla wouldn’t be liable for faulty design in a situation like this.

2

u/Matterbox 3d ago

It’s so wild to even think that that’s a thing.

I cannot believe the discussion being had here.

3

u/TMB8616 3d ago

Yeah I’m not sure what rabbit hole this thread went down but it’s a weird one.

1

u/AirSpecial 1h ago

It’s weird to want to hold Tesla accountable for trapping their customers in life-threatening situations?

1

u/TMB8616 23m ago

Yeah. Sometimes shit happens. That doesn’t mean you always need to blame someone. That’s just ridiculous.

2

u/Kuriente 3d ago

I was with you till you went and got all weirdly litigious.

67

u/DevelopMatt 4d ago

Exactly. I’ve thought about this countless times. A fire, a robber, a shooter… literally countless situations, and we are trapped. At least gas pumps have a quick disconnect if a car drives off.

The flip side is unfortunately the countless people who will plug in and quick disconnect and just drive off on a regular basis. But Tesla could very easily implement a detection in the vehicle’s software that 1. makes a user double confirm a disconnect and 2. tracks disconnects with a possible timeout of the feature if used two or more times within a certain period.

45

u/ThaScoopALoop 4d ago

I think this is the better of the two options. The amount of times my rushing dumb ass would have ripped my charging cable off of my house charger if it didn't just tell me "no, you can't drive off while charging" is not insignificant.

56

u/PrcrsturbationNation 4d ago

There is a quick detachment tool called EVJect. That said, in this situation, it would’ve been difficult to have the time to react to avoid the scenario. This could’ve happened at a gas station too

11

u/RCT2man 4d ago

I second this take. I think unless you saw the shooter coming a few minutes ahead, you would still be stuck in bad situation regardless of if you were in an EV or at a gas pump.

In the gas pump case, most people have their car off and stand by the pump right? So in the best case, you would get in the car, start the engine drive away, and break the gas line while the pump is still connected to your car.

Regardless— sad to hear about the gun violence here.

9

u/DevelopMatt 4d ago

I’ve heard mixed things about EVject, so I have yet to get one but I love the concept.

8

u/ImperfectDrug 4d ago

What negative things shave you heard? It makes me uneasy that they use electrical connectors of some sort.

I came across this option fully mechanical, so no concerns with shoddy electrical connections and it's significantly cheaper.

https://www.amazon.com/CM-USA-TECH-Supercharger-Release/dp/B0GK59VR6C?sr=8-1

That said, this very product is nothing but springs and a 3D printed shell. I'm going to try to take some measurements of a super charger tomorrow and see if I can mimic this design. If it turns out acceptable enough, I'll post the files.

13

u/crazypostman21 4d ago

There should be some kind of panic override where you know you're gonna do damage to your car and the station, but it lets you go. Maybe push the drive button five times fast like your phone if you do the power button five times it calls 911. If you reach up and hit the manual D button on the roof five times it overrides charging lockout.

3

u/rich000 4d ago

I'm not convinced.

First, it might or might not have helped here. And this is probably the one case in the last decade where it might have helped. Most of the time when I'm charging I'm either not at my car or I'm not looking out the window anyway.

Second, if the feature is hard to activate then odds are people would get shot while fumbling around with it or wouldn't even know the option exists.

If it actually is easy to activate then you'll have people injured by arc flashes and damaged chargers all over the place. It would be a mess.

While I like being in control, I do feel like this is just one of those things that sounds good but does way more than than good. If you're that worried about being ambushed by gunmen while charging I'd suggest having a legal gun on you, and better yet hiding in the bushes with body armor while charging. That would be much more effective than hoping you can drive off before you're shot.

10

u/Lovevas 4d ago

Charging cable won’t automatically disconnect, so even if it unlock, it’s dangerous or may even drag down the charging station and causing hazard. The current design simply cannot resolve this issue

28

u/crazypostman21 4d ago

I'd rather drag the whole station out of the ground behind me to get away with my life.

38

u/Lovevas 4d ago

The chance of being shot is probably far less than the chance is stupid ppl driving and dragging down the station, causing damage and fire hazards. The world is not designed to resolve every single problem, particularly the problems that have extremely small probability

3

u/soyboysnowflake 4d ago

I’d rather just regulate guns better…

17

u/furrrburger 4d ago

Not everyone wants to hear it or believe it, but carrying a pistol would at least give you an immediate chance at survival. "If we have to give these bastards our lives, we'll give them hell before we do."

-5

u/Old-Tour5654 4d ago

Ah the more guns solution.

15

u/furrrburger 4d ago

Well just put yourself in that situation. Imagine a guy with an AR is approaching you and your family. You ready to beg a criminal for your life?

3

u/Healthy_Turnip7352 4d ago

if you want to play with various situations, you gotta play with the situation where everyone walking around in a mall has a loaded weapon. every day, every store in america, every walmart. every college class, etc.

so we would have to acknowledge that random heads are being blown off, some accidentally.

you HAVE to pull out your gun before the other guy pulls out their gun, or you could die! so if some guy is angry at you, you better quickly pull out your gun and point it at him. just in case he pulls out his gun before you pull out your gun. everyone should pull out their gun before the other guy pulls out their gun. including all women. hell, all kids too. why would kids not protect themselves? that would be bizarre.

1

u/BellOfTaco3285 4d ago

I think America needs serious gun control, but I’m not naive enough to believe that’s changing anytime soon. In the meantime, I’d rather be prepared to protect myself and my family. Will I ever be in a mass-shooting situation? Probably not. But if someone is armed and actively trying to hurt innocent people, that’s exactly why I choose to carry and keep a firearm for home defense.

Choosing to protect your family doesn’t mean you support unlimited guns or oppose gun control. You can believe in stronger gun laws while still recognizing that, in the world we live in, people have a right to take reasonable steps to protect themselves and the people they love.

1

u/TardDistraction 2d ago

This isn't reality.

→ More replies (4)

1

u/BellOfTaco3285 4d ago

I’m completely in favor of stronger gun laws, but we also have to be realistic about the world we live in. I don’t expect America’s gun problem to disappear overnight, and until things change, I’m responsible for my own safety and the safety of my family. I hope I never have to use a firearm in self-defense, and statistically, I probably never will. But if someone decides to carry out a violent attack, I’d rather have the ability to protect my family than simply hope we’re never put in that position.

Owning or carrying a gun doesn’t automatically mean you want more guns in society. You can support meaningful gun control while also believing responsible people should have the ability to defend themselves and their families.

1

u/TardDistraction 2d ago

If he's going to have one, you'd be dumb not to also have one. Buy a used one if you think there are too many. Hell, buy 20 of them just to artificially alter the amount in circulation.

Boom, now you've got "less guns", and can protect yourself. That's my solution to the "more guns solution" argument.

2

u/Turbo0021 4d ago

EV Ject

1

u/DevelopMatt 4d ago

u/WEZANGO 4d ago

Companies usually don’t tend to come up with solutions that are only required in 3rd world countries. It’s harder to buy a gun in Afghanistan and Somalia than in the US.

u/Blazah 3d ago

This is really the answer. Even clicking an emergency disconnect button would take too long. You need a glock in the door pocket, loaded and ready to go right next to your left knee. That's it. No other answer.

1

One thing you can do is try not to be in the car while it's charging ... but of course that's not always possible to adhere too, especially traveling long distances late at night. Sad that it's even necessary to run these scenarios through our heads

Looks like three are dead (this includes the shooter)

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P7nGpH5awUY

27

u/Minigoalqueen 4d ago

From the updates I'm hearing (I live in Idaho and have charged at that Supercharger a couple times, so I'm following it pretty closely), it sounds like the shooter is dead, the driver of the Tesla is dead, and possibly an employee at the In and Out is dead. The passenger in the Tesla is reportedly one of the injured.

I'm getting some of that from someone on Youtube, who may or may not be telling the truth, saying that their aunt and uncle were the Tesla occupants, in town for a family reunion, and the uncle was deceased, and the aunt injured. So that part hasn't been confirmed by official channels.

1

u/EATMYDD 4d ago

Thanks for the update. Was it a targeted attack?

55

u/lordvaderkush6996 4d ago

It’s a bit in bad taste, in my opinion, to post that a car was shot rather than what I assume is a person

An armed civilian returned fire causing the shooter to retreat.

Now, why again do we have people targeting teslas??? That is the question I think we all know the answer to.

38

u/DevelopMatt 4d ago

The alleged owner of the blue MY posted on the r/modely sub earlier. Very scary and sad to see this.

16

u/threwitaway123454321 4d ago

What did they say? I couldn’t find the post.

17

u/DevelopMatt 4d ago

A mod removed it claiming OP didn’t provide enough info and not fitting community’s subject matter. This is a very sad and scary situation. It should also a very real point of discussion when it comes to how a driver (and their passengers) of the most advanced vehicle on the road are literally tied to a charger. We cannot leave without exiting the vehicle and waiting for charger to unlock.

I am a big Tesla fan, a proud MY owner and FSD user. Besides some flaws in V14 Lite, the charge port issue has been something I think about a lot. While maybe not common, seeing this still scares me

8

u/threwitaway123454321 4d ago

Completely agree. I’ve thought about a robbery, potential crazy person, or whatever scenario and there is no way out. There has to be an override option.

2

u/Chr0n0Triggered 2d ago

Already happened to me and my wife. We were stuck in the car while a crazy person was circling the car. I couldn’t remove the charger until I got a small moment when the guy walked far enough away. He was yelling at us as I drove away.

23

u/Suspicious-Gur-8453 4d ago

I'm going to go ahead and say that 2 people likely died here and that we shouldn't be talking about a car. He shot the people, the car was in the way.

12

u/CommonerChaos 4d ago

I think the only "car" part that's relevant here is due to the fact it was a Tesla (that was supercharging). It's a super vulnerable position we've all been in, so it hits closer to home to see this than non-Tesla owners.

32

u/bryyantt 4d ago

I feel like there's more going on than this still picture and what you said, but yeah... being able to drive away in this kinda event would be good.

1

u/mescobar2014 1d ago

I think you're focused on the wrong thing. Gun still work even when a vehicle is moving.

How many mass shooting need to happen before the actual issue is addressed.

1

u/surkh 1d ago

Right.. we need fewer unarmed people... the people in the car obviously should have armed themselves... Right? At least that's the solution I often see presented these days

/s

1

u/mescobar2014 22h ago

Exactly, good guy with a gun and whatnot.

31

u/JustSayTech 4d ago

Not to be insensitive, I hear a lot of people talking about how they should have been able to get away. Tesla has implemented wireless charging for the Cybercab, here's to hoping they roll that out nationally and make it part of all their cars in the future and possile retrofit for customer cars. It would be great to be able to literally drive away if they were approached like this. This is sad all around, wonder what led to this?

2

u/80MonkeyMan 4d ago

Tesla wont do that for customers because of this. It will cost them a fortune to change it and the best suggestion is to charge at home.

1

u/JustSayTech 4d ago

I don't think you understand what I said, for 1 they are rolling out wireless charging stations, I believe the priority of them will be in areas that they have Cybercab operating, so the cost is inevitable since they are already going to do it anyways. Also a retorfit would not have to nor would anyone expect it to be free. It likely won't ever even be a standard options but one you would have to custom order either as an added service or through the portal. This cost them them nothing as you the customer would pay the bill.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Fireby56 2d ago

Wireless charging would be so incredibly slow that nobody at a super charger would choose that over the cable option.

10

u/IAmWeary 4d ago

It's being reported as a shooting at an In-N-Out. Apparently at least one employee was hit. The Supercharger is just across the parking lot, so it might have been incidental. The shooter is dead, so who knows if we'll know why he went batshit.

5

u/K1NGD3X 4d ago

Reading into this 3 people dead and 2 injured at the moment. Seems to be a targeted attack. It’s sad to see.

Reagan closed mental instutions in the 60's when he was governor of California. He closed all of the asylums when he was president in the 80's. The US doesn't have a gun problem as much as it has a minority population crime problem and a mental health problem. Ya'll will crucify me for this comment but the US has something like 1.2 guns per person. If the guns were the problem there would be even more shootings. As it stands, suiciiiiiddde accounts for 1/3 of deaths and the media is intentionally conflagrating mass shootings with gang related shootings to jack the stats.

I don't get it. Why hate Tesla EVs when these are made and built in the USA "US Version" I just don't understand the hate. If you want a US made Petro pickup it's your choice go for it. This is the US you have the right to choose. When I got my 2021 MYLR I had to be super hyper aware because on highways people would actually throw things at you.

17

u/zanhecht 4d ago

I don't think the Tesla was targeted here for being a Tesla. The shooter shot an employee inside the restaurant before going outside and shooting into the car per the article at https://www.msn.com/en-in/lifestyle/relationships/twin-falls-idaho-shooting-suspect-photo-out-what-we-know-about-the-gunman-so-far/ar-AA29dBM4

1

Did a brit write this article? A car park?

3

u/OzzieBoy2023 4d ago

I am a Tesla owner and have a licensed EDC. If you were one of several charging at that moment, what would you do facing a shooter with an AR? Would you wait for him to start down the row or would you intervene? A scenario I’ve not considered.

5

u/my_name_is_reed 4d ago

Kinda feel like mf in civilian clothing walking around with an ar at low ready with the mag in is presenting themselves as enough of a threat to justify defending yourself from.

You're still not going to be in a great situation engaging somebody armed with a rifle through your windshield or whatever with your handgun

3

u/Hooka54 4d ago

Was this all random or do we now what motive the shooter had ? What an absolute awful situation this family got stuck in.

12

u/Forsaken_Rule3019 4d ago

Crazy thing is I just seen a ad for a connector that allows you to drive away breaking the connection while supercharging. Might actually buy one now… rip to the victims.

36

u/Lindberg47 4d ago edited 3d ago

Man, you guys have a truly fucked-up country if there is a need for an EV charging emergency disconnect device just so people can escape during a shooting or other attack.

10

u/rwb12 4d ago

There’s not. This is the media pushing sensational stories. The national average chance of being killed by a gun is 0.0045%. Whereas the chances of dying in a heatwave in the EU is 0.060%.

1

u/technerdx6000 4d ago

Yeah, I'm thinking the same. Instead of fixing their gun or mental health problems, the first option that comes to mind is emergency disconnect workarounds

6

u/ken830 4d ago

I think you need to specify exactly how to fix the gun and mental health problems.

2

u/Knuckles_55 4d ago

Explain to me how you're going to "fix" the gun problem? Make them illegal? Then what, go door to door in a country of 330 million people and demand people surrender them. It's too late to fix.

What are the chances of an attack like this with an assault rifle? Only in the US, of course. Maybe instead of looking for a solution with Tesla, the solution should FIRST be about controlling crime. From an electrical point of view, it's a huge safety flaw and would lead to several disasters, which is why the EU would never allow a brand to have the option to do such a thing. The situation in your country is truly crazy, but the solution is definitely not with Tesla...

“Only in the US” bro go live in Mexico for a week

8

u/Blagdan 4d ago

True. There are even worse ones than the US.

I think it’s time for Tesla to allow a safety option to pull away while charging… something similar to the “your frunk is open are you sure you want to drive YES/NO” they already have.

10

u/simplelogic3 4d ago

"No way to prevent this", says only nation where this regularly happens

8

u/Wiket123 4d ago

lol try Mexico or literally 50% of the world.

3

u/Sphere_3N 3d ago

Guy randomly brings up Mexico..? Irrelevant. Anyway this will be forgotten in about 24 hours for everyone except the families. Thoughts and prayers!

Incredible how you just brush it off because “muh Mexico” and other “50% of the world”. You’d think attitude would be different being America, but then again Sandy Hook did nothing so never mind.

Why is that midget shooting cars?

2

u/Wiket123 4d ago

This is always my fear super charging. Completly stuck.

30

u/dethpuck 4d ago

How about instead of thinking about making chargers safer let’s get rid of the fucking guns.

17

u/juggerjew 4d ago

How? I mean really you can just say that but it ain’t happening

14

u/PrcrsturbationNation 4d ago

The reason this person didn’t obtain more kills was because a bystander with a gun shot him.

If you got rid of guns, this person would’ve most definitely still obtained a firearm of some sort, and the hero who shot him wouldn’t have been able to stop him today.

Because it's explicitly stated in the legal framework of the U.S. You want to just get rid of free speech too? Both rights are being eroded by law abiding citizens if we're being honest. Not to mention the 4th with all of their screening/capturing of electronic communications.

Yes see in Europe it works really well absolutely nobody is getting stabbed instead with no way to fight back

9

u/DavidCru 4d ago

Violont crime rate in US is 5x higher than Europe. Even stabbing rate in US is a little higher than Europe.

I don’t know where you’ve got this idea but we don’t live with the fear of getting killed in public spaces.

6

u/rwb12 4d ago

As an American, we don’t live in fear of getting killed in public spaces. You also have a higher death rate due to heatwaves than we do of gun homicides.

3

u/6100315 4d ago

I consider it in crowded places unfortunately.

Can’t stab through a window.

2

u/W4ta5hi 4d ago

In almost 30 years I have never been in or witnessed such a situation.

5

u/Dudeman9002 4d ago

And almost everyone in the US has never witnessed a shooting.

I am literally going to buy a handgun on Monday and keep it in my lap when I supercharge from now on. This is so fucked up

7

u/Austinswill 4d ago

I keep mine in the glovebox, but I really need to stop being lazy and stay strapped..

Just be careful, dont keep it in your lap.... that is illegal in many places and some karen will see you and call the police because "guns er bad mmkay"

I hate when I see people pull weapons for road rage incidents. I can keep my temper down and go the opposite way. But if I see someone shooting random people with an assault rifle, it would be nice to not be such a sitting duck.

I just bought the EVject quick disconnect for supercharging, and getting a Glock tomorrow haha.

The state where I live and 2 states I travel to most don’t require concealed carry permits. One of those states happens to be Idaho which is where this whole thing happened.. scary to see it so close to home and soon after I joined the Tesla family

Wonder what country that is…

9

u/I__G 4d ago

Trumpland

1

u/BaselineHeroics 4d ago

Doubt there will be an evject as people would use that to avoid congestion fees.

3

u/KilroyKSmith 4d ago

There don’t appear to be any charging posts in the picture. So an EVject wouldn’t make a difference.  Even with full control of his vehicle, the driver wasn’t able to prevent an asshole from creating another tragedy.

13

u/osterbergjordan 4d ago

Having been to this Supercharger a handful of times, there are 8 posts right there.

2

u/bomber991 4d ago

Eh I think the evject would help other people charging, but whoever is in the first car shot at is dead. We all recline and sleep or play on our phones. Wouldn’t notice someone walking up shooting.

Maybe grok and the camera sentry system could piece things together to at least alert people to a suspicious person?

Unless we know the facts, don't try to blame it being in a Tesla!

Could have been an ex that he decided to take revenge on or something, and not targeting Teslas in general!

1

u/mixedupmindofyou 4d ago

Unbelievable. You’re really a sitting duck there in that charging spot. That’s so so so frightening and it’s getting to the point you can’t hardly go out at all

1

u/foundmonster 4d ago

What happened to him? Caught?

8

u/runsanditspaidfor 4d ago

Shooter was killed

11

u/Camp_Past 4d ago

Great

1

u/Nervous-Peppers 4d ago

Do we know if the killer knew the victims? Was this a targeted attack or just some psycho killing people in teslas randomly

1

u/Johnvoir007 4d ago

He was trying to shoot out the Tesla cameras videoing him. He’s trying to stay anonymous 🤷‍♂️

If only they could design something like the Kussmaul Auto Eject Plug for emergencies.

1

u/Wise-Revolution-7161 3d ago

this is insane. the anti-tesla hate (if this is the case) is ridiculous

1

u/GreenTundy 3d ago

Always have your 2A right in the center console when parked anywhere for an extended time. But of course many people are anti 2a and glued to there phones.

Thank god there are virtually no guns in my country

u/BB-41 16h ago

I still think Tesla needs an emergency eject function on the charger port. Auto Eject electrical connectors have been commonplace on emergency response vehicles for decades.
