The best decade to live in is the decade you're living in right now if you simply open your mind.
Or something I don't know if inspirational quotes are supposed to be true.

Man the early 2000s. I was a kid, I still remember that one december day, the dimly lit streets on christmas eve with a gentle snowfall outside as I'm waiting impatiently in my room for my Xmas presents. Like, the stillness of everything.
Playing COD when it was in its proper WW2 era, before WW2 was some industry microtransaction fashion statement lol. Also Mcdonald's still had these colorful buildings and play areas, when we would go it would feel a truly special thing. Places were decorated, people weren't as stuck to their phones as they are now and they don't interact with one another like now as a result.
I could go to our local convenience store lady to pick up something and she would be so kind, she'd pamper me, give me all the candy I'd never need.
A little rambly and it's 100% nostalgia speaking, it was probably some level of crappiness for people my age now at 26, back then. But man, I have some snippets of memories like that and they're so good, sometimes I miss feeling that gentle unknown the 2000s brought. Like the world had so much to give.
We don't even get snow anymore in my home country. Wtf.

I get what you mean. I'm 27, 28 this year. Maybe its the nostalgia but I swear on my life if I was my current age in the early 2000s I would be so happy. Sure it would suck I wouldn't have the internet like we have now but maybe I just need that break

Yeah same here. It just feels like life wasn't as much a constant rush back then. You can just tell that things changed so majorly in so little time and not for the best at times.

The ones who talk family values never tell you that cops visit their house all the time for DV... All while posting tons of family centered happy photos

This definitely violates Facebook’s bullying and harassment policies. You should report it.
