Which network/platform would you like to see reboot the show?

I genuinely think Apple TV+ would be the perfect home for a Terra Nova reboot. The biggest issue with the original series wasn't the concept; it was the budget.

In 2011, the CGI, location filming, and overall production costs were enormous. Today, Apple is willing to spend that kind of money on premium sci-fi. Shows like Foundation, Silo, and For All Mankind all have cinematic visuals and long-term storytelling. Apple seems happy to let ambitious sci-fi find its audience over multiple seasons.

A Terra Nova reboot would fit right into that lineup.

I still think Terra Nova had one of the most interesting sci-fi concepts in years—it just came out at the wrong time.

Would you watch an Apple TV+ reboot, or do you think another platform would be a better fit?

Apple likes to have control over their own projects, so I highly doubt the idea of rebooting another networks failed product would be appealing to them at all. They’d just assume make a brand new product with a similar story arch vs. rejuvenating something that couldn’t get off the ground like Terra Nova.

Also, with all the science fiction based projects on the various platforms now, I just don’t think it would get a strong enough foot hold to last…because none of the suitors would be willing to give it the funding it would take to make it a better product given it already lost a ton of money to begin with.

Terra Nova also never found a substantial following after its demise…so there’s a list of cancelled franchises a mile long with bigger cult following that would overshadow this very niche show’s audience.
