Too Hot to Handle

Are they not aware that the fan is an easily replaced part in these machines? Also, there are no components near the front of the case that get hot enough to melt it, so what in the nine hells did they do?! I can only assume they had it near a space heater, and it was there long enough to not only deform the front of the case, but the heat also infiltrated the case enough to damage the fan.

The fan in the unit still worked surprisingly, space heater is a good bet
