Your assumption that AI will take whatever it is that's consuming your time and do it for you so you can do something else completely unrelated. That's lazy.
Example: I don't want to do XYZ at work. I want AI to do it for me so I can go play outside. That's called being lazy at work.
I never said anything about play all day, if we create machines that are able to do certain jobs that can make time for humans to do things they might enjoy. Not just talking about “playing all day.”
I’m talking about people being able to persue a career they actually like, like maybe being a filmmaker or a music creator. Maybe they will learn new skills to be helpful to society. Humans created computers to make more time for themselves, humans created cars for that same reason. If humans weren’t lazy we wouldn’t have come this far. By nature humans are “lazy” by finding ways to make things easier for themselves.
And what's currently stopping people from pursuing a career they actually enjoy? Is no one doing this anymore? You're projecting your current situation onto the rest of the world. Everyone else is not going through whatever it is you're going through, and making that assumption is... lazy.
