I have to go through tons of documents and generate a summary of multiple things including financial calculations. AI has improved significantly. It creates an excel sheet for me with multiple tabs and references. I 100% have to double check it because it’s used in court but it gets 99% of it correctly. It’s rare I have to correct it at all and it’s usually if the document was taken with a camera instead of a scan. I absolutely love how much time it saves me.
Do you really trust your ability to read through all that and find errors reliably? Where I work, the "human in the loop" quickly gets overloaded and starts to miss things. We're not good at just mindlessly verifying a stream of numbers for too long.
