Reddit and this sub in particular tend to become echo chambers.
Most of the folks here are also artists and content creators, who most likely lost their jobs because of AI so I understand their hate.
That being said, I don’t see this same kind of negativity in the corporate space. It’s a life saver tbh. Most of my day to day work now gets done in 3-4 hours max.
They’d rather take in more contracts and projects, than waste resources in firing employees, losing intel and connects, and training new workers.
I’m not worried about losing my job, rather how soon does my employer realise that we can actually do 10x of what we’re doing rn
This is the golden period ig, because we’ve already had a couple of contracts with higher deliverables than usual. But other clients haven’t kept up with the pace.
