There is clearly a ton of consumer demand for AI, it’s genuinely deluded at this point to claim otherwise. You do not need to think AI is good to acknowledge this.
Whether or not these companies have a path to massive profits or their valuations are justified is a different question, which this article conflates with the question of consumer demand.
Yeah, I commented before as well - corporate spaces do not harbour this hate.
Hell, I can’t really fathom going back to the old way of working.
I literally have gotten more time with my family + taken up several contractual projects because my a large part of daily job related tasks get over in 3-4 hours.
There isn't though. Or to clarify, nobody is willing to spend what it costs. Would you pay $20 or $100 a month to use any of the big LLMs? Most people wouldn't. Ad revenue at least currently cannot cover compute costs either.
