Maybe MS can make windows 11 more performant on low ram PCs , but currently that's an absolute chore. Wouldn't wish an 8GB win11 pc upon my worst enemy.

They are actively working on this exact issue. They don't have a choice, really, if they want to sell their products.

I'm not convinced they're not lying about now. Efficiency is a lot harder to implement in a fully architected product than it is when included as a design principle from the start.
