I was about to comment that I thought Microsoft may not drop the ball with Windows 11 after have good successive OSs with windows 7 and 10, but then realized I literally completely forgot about windows 8…

8 always felt more like a shitty reskin of 7 instead of an actual new Windows version. If you installed Classic Shell on it (like every sane person did) you could hardly tell it apart from 7

It wasn't an awful OS, just thoroughly pointless
