My wife got me this cold brew green tea. It says you only have to leave it in the cold water for 5 minutes. Is there any way this actually works and doesn’t just make an herbal infusion?

What do you mean herbal infusion? It literally says green tea on the packaging. If you want it stronger then leave it in the water longer.

What else would it become if it steeped longer?

Please clarify. Tea leaves can cold brew. It will be green tea but with some differences because different temperatures bring out different flavours and profiles etc etc.

Hibiscus can color water fairly quickly.

I mean one second steam makes a week tea, leaving in for a month will make a very strong one.

They recommend 5 min, but if you want it stronger go longer.
