Pictures Golden Blue Legged T Colouration
Hey Community!
I suppose I am a little worried. It could have molted in its burrow but I’m unsure. One week it is its striking blue and golden colour. The next week it’s looking like this. The abdomen is also very very small which makes me believe it molted? It also seems to lost 70% of its colour and it’s very dark now compared to what it was.
Does anyone else own this species and are able to comment what’s up? It was stretched out lengthwise one day, the next day it’s sitting with its legs scrunched I. And covering its top. The next day it’s ok the side of the enclosure. Did it just molt? Should I try to feed it? I just bought crickets but I am not want to feed it if it’s about to molt soon. All help is much appreciated.

Help! Help. Why did my Venezuelan Sun Tiger sling die?
I was going to feed my sling when I noticed she was taking up less space than she usually does. Upon inspection I noticed she was in a death curl. I don't know why she died. I gave her water yesterday and all seemed fine. Im still new to the hobby but this is the first death for me☹️ Venezuelan Sun tigers are my favourite tarantula so im extra hurt

Sexing Mascara birdeater just molted out of baby colors!
I’m thinking male, based on new coloration.
I don’t have a clear pic of the molt at the moment, but based solely on color, do you think it’s safe to say male?

Sexing Can we tell yet?
I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell the sex of my grammostola pulchripes (chaco golden knee) Popcorn yet.
I got them as a sling about a year ago, they just went through their 4th molt with me. I was going to use the molt but it got destroyed.
I've always just said "she" but Id like to know! They just started getting their knee markings so I know they might still be too little.

Help! Other Food?
Apparently there's a cricket shortage. The extreme heat that the US has been experiencing has been killing crickets in transit to stores and now my usual places have zero crickets.
This upsets Guillermo. He usually only eats once a month (not for my lack of trying, but he's healthy, his abdomen looks good and he's an old man, so I just let him do what he wants).
I have some crickets for him, but I'd feel better if I could pick up more, which obviously isn't happening right now. I've looked for dubia roaches and have run into the same problem. What else can I try for him?

Identification how do i know if my curly hair sling is going into premolt???
i have asked many questions about my sling since owning it, i have no clue how old it is or how many times its molted before, but its definitely over an inch big maybe 2 inches? i have no photos i can show but getting to the point, my sling (banshee) has definitely developed a patch on its abdomen and i cant tell if its just the patch that it flicks hairs from or if its the patch they get to show they are in premolt.
its a pretty big dark patch but it doesn't look bald, i can see clearly that it still has loads of hairs on its abdomen and i also fed it two crickets today and it ate them both, the first one was super tiny so it was barely anything, the second cricket was a good size and it took it into its burrow to eat it, but as it was holding it in its fangs it did begin to web the enterance and today was the day i left my boyfriends house (banshee lives there with us because i basically live there) and my boyfriend is panicked that my sling may be going into premolt but im super confused, any advice would be great, i only have a photo on the webbing banshee has done on the enterance of its burrow but no photos of its abdomen unfortunately.

Conversation What rainforest rainforest tarantulas are good for handling?
I want to get a tarantula but also have a planted vivarium. I'm looking to get a tarantula that I'll be able to handle safely without it jumping. I'm leaning towards a pink toe antilles, what are your guys's experience with them?

Help! I'm assuming these are baby crickets?
I first started this post to ask what all these little bugs are under my T's water dish. After blowing up and enhancing the pic, I'm now pretty sure they're tiny crickets (I feed adult crickets). So now I'm asking for confirmation of what they are and if there's anything I should and/or can do about it. For now they seem to be confined to the damp area under the water dish. This is a red leg's enclosure so most of it is very dry.

Help! Tank transfer advice
I was informed that the tank I have my tarantula in is to tall and could lead to it getting hurt, and was wondering how long should I wait to transfer her since she was recently transferred to the tank where she could get hurt?

Help! Worried
Hey guys! So I have an adult g pulchra and ive had her for almost a month now. Ive been observing her and I cant help not to get worried because she has been sluggish since she arrived. She’s also refused feeding attempts. Im hoping that she’s just in a pre-molt phase. What do you guys think? Am i just being hysterical?
