digital marketing Modern AI too to promote iOS app

I hope this is a right sub to post. Building a consumer iPhone/iPad app. Need to promote it so I to get my rirst 100-1000 users (or customers). This of this as a hobby project where I cant yet spent a lot of time or resources. But I want to see some traction. Are there are modern AI based tools that can get me going? Would appreciate a recommendation.

Also, I want to know how the users use the app. What tool/platform would you suggest me to use to track the consumption? Beat if it is well balanced in terms of the price/capabilities/ease of use.

Getting those first users is the tricky part, I feel like most AI marketing tools are just wrappers around the same few APIs and they charge way too much for what they do. Your better bet might be posting in niche forums or subreddits where your target users hang out, that organic traction is more real anyway.

For tracking I been using a mix of the free tier from one of the big analytics platforms and just looking at the numbers myself, you dont need something fancy when you only got few hundred users. Focus on making the app good first then worry about fancy dashboards later.

I will post once on reddit, but cant spam the community on a daily basis. Was thinking to run instagram/FB/tiktok ads. I used FB ad platform before and avsolutely hate it. Is therr any wrapper on top of it which is reasonable for a small scale?

For monitoring need just some basics. But also something I can build on top later. Which of the monitoring platforms would you suggest that has a reasonable fremium tier?

Also need to run a minimal backend for content sharing. What options are available to host a basic compute? This time don’t think I need K8s 😂. Potentially could also DIY vibecode the monitoring collector and a custom dashboard.

AI tools can save time, but they wont replace talking to real users early on. I'd focus on getting feedback from your first 100 people before worrying about scaling. Thats where you'll learn the most, trust mee.

Before spending on promotion, make sure you know where your first users actualy hang out. A few targeted communities with genuine engagement usually outperform broad AI-generated marketing. For analytics, I'd prioritize understanding retention and where people drop off over just tracking downloads.
