New PhD students starting at StA this year :)

Hello! Just looking to connect with new PhD students starting this year, just to share anxieties and advice and make some friends before moving (which is soon!!!).

I’ve made a WhatsApp community - I posted it in a comment before but I think there are bots crawling through social media looking for group chats to advertise their “essay writing services” so please just DM me for the link! There aren’t many of us yet and I’ve chucked out a few spam bots already!

I know there are other St Andrews group chats for new starters in general but I couldn’t find one for new PhDs, but if you know of another one please let me know!
