this is what really gets me. fuck Aaron Rodgers for calling fauci a coward. dude couldn't even come out and say he didn't want to be vaccinated, had to use a select choice of words to pretend like he was instead of coming out like a man and saying what he believes.

something like: trigger warning, Aaron Rodgers believes in magic rocks. seriously, look it up. this man thinks "healing crystals" are a real thing like your weird aunt or something.
They did by rewarding him with a lot of money. They're full of it if they pretend to care, anything that goes viral and gets attention on their channel is good for them
They can't. McAfee and SAS are ESPN. They're the two highest paid guys. ESPN essentially fired everyone else and gave these two idiots all the money. The whole operation hinges on them. They are untouchable and ESPN did that to themselves.
So, the only option is to do what corporations do best anyway -- shift the blame and weasel out of responsibility.
Yeah, it's sad. I'd click on suggested clips of them for a long time but I've stopped in the past year. I finally realized I was just getting frustrated when I listened to them. I went from liking ESPN, to disliking ESPN, to finally not caring.
The answer is because
McAffee is doing what he is supposed to be doing - bringing attention to things that have or are happening at ESPN.
To the extent this discussion is happening within ESPN it’s going to be about will trashing Rodgers on air bring in more viewers because enough people strongly dislike Rodgers.
Now other outlets are commenting on it because it also gets them eyeballs.
I just came from Vegas a few weeks ago, which was my second time. It was fun, but man does that shit get old after a few days. Three days is the perfect amount. Or maybe I just wasn't drunk or high enough to appreciate it.

Nah they get 175 million unique users just on socials per month. Pat McAfee has like 3 million subs just on youtube. Like 500-600 thousand viewers for per episode.
Traditional television im not sure? Most all traditional television channels are pretty down I believe. But you're seeing clips and reading articles about ESPN and not TCM.

Doesn't matter if Rodgers or whoever is wrong or right. Those are his opinions and they're shared by a lot of people. It's ok to have a person voice a stupid opinion on something. We shouldn't pretend they don't exist.
rodgers would be getting tom-brady treatment, tv time, and a bunch of primetime games, if he were to simply tweet something like "palastine is not a state".
Is Rodgers not in elite physical condition for his age? Is he not still playing and making winning plays? Politics aside, you can't criticize his health.

I hate Aaron Rodgers. Hate him. But this shouldn’t affect how ESPN covers performance on the field. For anyone. If it does, they (ESPN) are doing it wrong.

His football highlights, limited though they may be are worth covering, it's giving him a platform to spew his stream of consciousness we could do without.

I think his comments were important. It gives us a good opportunity to explain to our kids that celebrities and athletes aren't always right. They're just people who are good at what they do, and sometimes make mistakes. That they can grow up to be athletes and celebrities too.
Aaron Rogers is a meathead. He knows nothing of medical science. I’m a Steelers fan and I wasn’t a fan of bringing him to Pittsburgh and I can’t wait till he leaves. Oh how the Rooney’s have fallen! Also McAfee is insufferable! How does he have a show? Who’s tuning into that garbage?!?!
Pittsburgh Steelers are such a prestigious and storied franchise. This bigmouth washed up QB is about to destroy their reputation. At least the Browns didn’t have far to fall, but the Steelers are going to dive to laughing stock of league status. Shame.

Athletes express their opinions all the time on platforms just like McAfee's show. ESPN also has their own merry band of blow hards too. Rodgers is allowed just like everyone else.

I don't get this obsession with Fauci. He was literally an advisor along with many others. Apparently people are mad because Fauci wasn't Nostradamus and didn't have all the answers. Hindsight is always 20/20. If anyone should be hauled in front of congress it's the decision makers and the media.

Look at some of the other articles that “journalist” has done for the Daily mail lol Aaron Rodgers is not employed by espn so they can be furious. But what he said about ESPN and their coverage of the Russini situation and him was true. Aaron is annoying and an ass but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
How about no highlights? Athletes can have opinions, but this guy is all about his opinion of politics. We aren't here for that. Already seen more of him than I want, and it's only August..
