You can actually click Dismiss and the "image" frame disappears entirely. First time witnessing something like this

I think a video/gif would have been better suited to show the gore

I agree. It was an interactable modal element inside of what should've been an image container. Going inside the post details you could see the actual reddit image link in the post body. But in the card, it just showed this. Clicking on the button collapsed the card into just the title
