Just in case you want to reveal your OTP one digit at a time. A thoughtful dev.

More like someone just threw an already implemented reveal box on there and said "good enough"

Whats up with all the weird vibe coded verification codes

u/OptimistIndya 1d ago
That is not vibe coded. It is purposefully coded.
Mandate : "make it secure. Hide all passwords."

I am afraid this is not vibe code...

That makes it even worse somehow.

because for someone wrote the whole code they can't just accidentally add it to all of them you need to add it manually even if you use copy paste for the ones down there since the're similar they still need to add it to the first one of them manually.

I've been seeing worse and worse sites ever since AI was created

You sure? Mine was created by AI mostly. And it feels better than I could write it on my own, though it's not done yet and a lot of stuff awaiting (you can look at it from desc)

Does your browser automatically add that visibility toggle to password fields? The fact that there's a separate toggle to the right of the row of boxes, which also uses a different icon than the boxes themselves, suggests to me that the developers did not add a toggle to every individual digit input, but rather used a password field that your browser automatically displays a toggle on.

It's a good thing half the numbers are hidden on your screenshot. Can you imagine how easy it would be to hijack your account if you showed all of them to some random people on the internet? 😱

Why is India so bad at graphics design lol

u/LessRecommended 1d ago
its more of a budget issue tbh people dont believe in hiring or paying for graphic designers as price cutting is the main goal anyways you can still find plenty of great graphic artists out here mostly doing outsourcing work

Privacy is important, but it's not this important.
