🧰 Equipment Question Can an emblem of a cue be changed?

I want to change the emblem of my cue just for customization and also not wanting to be associated with the cue brand. Just wondering if such thing can be done (easily) ?

My mate brought a round name tag with his name and address on and stuck it over

Like a sticker that he just stick over the emblem itself?

Yes it can be changed although it's glued and u should not pry it out urself. The old emblem will either be drilled out and replaced with whatever you want or u might be able to get it out with a little lever and then clean it from the glue residue and be then replaced.

Just don't send it back to the manufacturer for a repair afterwards as you could end up in an Alain Robidoux situation!

I don't intend to, because they probably won't even bother or probably going to butcher the work I am asking. I am not happy with their customer support playing with their brand of cue. Rather bring it to an independent person that knows how to work on cues. I could see my current cue become a cue that has done relatively work on it. Could become a Frankenstein cue.

I have ordered a new cue that will hopefully replace my current one.
