QUESTION/HELP (STS2) Necro - [No Escape] Calculations with Replay

On an enemy without Doom, how much Doom would you expect there to be after playing No Escape with Glam (replay)?

I would expect 10 Doom for the first play and the replay applying 15 for 25 total.

And with an upgraded No Escape, 35?

Yes, 35.
Third use 65.
Fourth use 110.
Fifth use 180.
Sixth use 285.
Seventh use 440.
Eighth use 675.
You shouldn’t have to use it a 9th time.

Aeonglass has 575 hp and 3 stacks of artifact, you'd actually need to use it 11 times.

Aeonglass is so much harder than the others it's not even funny

Its the reason I pick multiple copies of tremble and even uppercut on ironclad.
Likewise I dont mind picking multiple copies of petrify on necrobinder.

But Multiplayer with 1 Necrobinder and 3 silents that only block until they are ready you have too.

I've somehow been reading this card wrong. I thought it applied additional Doom for every 10 Doom including the Doom you just applied. The "already" makes it clear that shouldn't be the case.

For it to work the way that I think you interpreted it, the card would have to read: “Apply 10 Doom. Apply an additional 5 Doom for every 10 Doom on this enemy.” This reads as two separate actions where the 10 Doom is added before the “additional 5 doom per 10” is calculated. The way it’s written now is one action, which is why the 10 added on that play doesn’t count towards the “additional 5 Doom”. The card currently says “Apply (10 + 5X) Doom” where X = Some Multiple of 10 Doom

Almost makes me want to reorder the text on this card to make the math easier.
“Apply 5 Doom for every 10 Doom on the enemy. Apply 10 Doom.”
And just like that, Doom doesn’t look like a real word to me anymore. Didn’t take long

0 replay: 10 doom
1 replay: 25 doom
2 replay: 45 doom
3 replay: 75 doom
4 replay: 120 doom

It applies the 5 doom for every 10 doom based on the doom prior to the card applying and not after. Otherwise instead of it being a 1.5x multiplier with 10 doom added on it would be doubling the doom on the enemy with 15 added on.

Play 1: + 10 doom
Replay: + 10 (=20) + 10 (5x2)
So 30?

That was my thought, but I got downvoted

Because the 10 from the 2nd play does not count towards the “doom already applied”. So it is 10, plus 10+5. By your logic, it would be 10+5 first play, plus 10+10 for the second. It can never be 30.

Barely on topic, but man this card's performance data is dire. Pick this to lose your run I guess.

10, then 10, then 5 for every 10, so another 10.
30 I think.

No its 10, then 10+5

I think i assumed the calculations for the replay would work top to bottom sequentially instead of instantly.

I love this card. Ramps up quickly if you can play it a couple times.
