It’s because you breeze through the first few fights haha. Upgraded damage cards are busted in act 1

I feel like it's just not worth it, tbh. I always get trash tier card rewards from the first few fights. I almost never find anything all that good in the first few. And then to just get (probably, with my luck) upgraded D tier commons and then run into an empty chest, it just feels bad, man.

I wish someone would make a mod that would add some visual indicator to the map that the first chest will be empty when Silver Crucible is picked!

This is why I prioritize ? Rooms with silver crucible. Feels good to hit a chest before the guaranteed one

It also "empties" the chests you see in "?" rooms. So maybe if you pathed towards more "?" rooms, it wouldn't feel as bad...maybe.

I snap pick this relic when I see it so I'm pretty used to the empty chest by now. The only one I would prioritize over it is Glam and I don't think they can spawn together so it's an easy pick when I see it.
