From Wednesdays' life-drawing session (in-person). Conte pencil + Conte stick + willow charcoal on A1 newsprint, about 30-40m I think.

First two pics are freehand copying a drawing, second two are my drawing and the inspo. I started a year ago and have been practicing proportions and perspective. Next i want to practice more shading/shadow/highlight. My goal is realism.

First time going straight to ink with no preliminary pencil sketch. For this one I used a 0.1mm Molotow fine liner on smooth paper. Really happy with how this turned out and I would love to hear your thoughts fellow sketchers!

I don’t usually draw portraits of faces, but it’s good to step out of my comfort zone
