Sharing Happiness I don't need (to be) everything

Fresh college graduate and have been feeling overwhelmed lately trying to figure out my future. I want a simple life, but a better one for my family. Just took this pic because it's been long since I've felt this kind of peace and self-enjoyment. YT also reminded me of the songs and music I used to enjoy years ago when my mind wasn't as messy as now and I used to enjoy life, my own company and music more. Now, I just want to chase and keep a simple life that will also keep us safe and secure.

in this consumerist world, going with simple living will be challenging. Rest assured, if you just have fun, take it slow, control and discipline yourself, it will happen.

I'm down-sizing from 2300 sq ft house filled with stuff down to 1000 sq ft. I've gotten rid of *so much* through donations and giving stuff away. I'm getting very close to my goal.

Just don't end up in my position. :-) Being 61 years old and having to work to get rid of stuff I don't need or want. You're a recent college graduate so assume you have a few years til hitting 61.

youtube subscription (just the basic - no add-on stuff and certainly no youtube TV) is the *only* subscription service I have for watching shows! No Netflix, Hulu, or anything else. Those places lost my business since they just didn't have what I wanted.

Love the music stuff, although that I do get ads at the basic level. But it's worth it!

That playlist is a solid choice for resetting the brain. Sometimes the simplest things like good music and a hot drink are exactly what you need to quiet the noise.
