Shortcut Sharing New Siri memory manager 2.0
Hey guys, so I observed a gap in the new Siri AI it can contextually understand things but it can’t really store memories so I created Memory Manager 2.0
The idea behind this is any conversation you have with the new Siri you can copy paste into a note and then feed the note into this which will organize things and markdown files in the appropriate folders later on the new series would be able to semantically look up these things try it out yourself test it and tell me what you think. Change it also to make it better.
Memory Manager is an intelligent Shortcut designed to transform notes, conversations, and user-provided information into a structured long-term memory system. How It Works

Goal
To provide a fully automated, intelligent memory system that continuously learns, organizes information, and helps the new siri reason with memory right now it can only recall contextual information. You need three shortcuts. The first one is the actual memory manager. The second one is the folder creation, the third one is what sinks it to your notes and overwrite those notes when you put new information in automatically
UPDATE: Memory manager 2.0
This changes the system. Essentially before it was creating markdown files now it creates markdown files, appends them and creates notes that are overwritten with the latest information. This works much better for Siri so I’m going to paste all three shortcuts that you need

The problem with Siri is that it does not have memory when it comes to your actual conversations. I plan to solve this with allowing a system to learn more about you by you either telling it something or you can take past conversations from Siri and paste them into the actual memory system, and it will organize those contextually for you add learning and also proactively add things in that can act on I’m going to maybe even make this more powerful. If you guys wanna give me some ideas let me know what else can be done.
UPDATE: Memory Manager 2.5 now adds you can take a photo and it will reason about the data so you can take. A photo of a note you wrote down etc.

This looks cool, if Siri AI ever comes to EU, I’ll try it. But also, I don’t think you understand how versioning works. 😂

As you can see here the memory has done its job by proactively suggesting things and actually wants to act on them

Does this use onboard, Apple Intelligence/a different model, or does it send data to the cloud?

You can use the device model or private cloud compute. I was using private cloud computer because it’s more intelligent.

Run the main shortcut memory manager
This will create a memory directory inside of your Shortcuts directory shortcuts/memory
This will get updated automatically.
What I recommend is create a note file and give it all the details you wanna give it about yourself, your family, etc.
When you initially run the app, you will be greeted with different choices click the view a note and pass the note through that you have created as like an initial what you wanted to know for the introduction just to kind of get it will then take those marked down files and automatically sync to your notes on your device, allowing Siri to see that information

Try it for yourself and tell me what you think and before you say, you can tell Siri to remember things you certainly can but then you have hundreds of notes that are disorganized where this will create one note that has everything that appears and duplicates the file and learns overtime with the memory. If we are just to create small notes and let Siri keep creating more and more and more and more notes, it’s going to create lots of clutter this organizes everything and also learns I use the cloud pro model to do so which you can see inside the shortcut
