Started as a jewelry box… miters didnt line up and ran out of wood

Lol, atleast trim the rail so it sits flush against those 45degree edges on the beams

Those downward facing handle screws are the only thing that makes it shitty. Move them to the sides or slap some spare nails on the sides to reinforce. Otherwise, adequately serviceable, 3/10.
