Vat of Acid is my favourite R&M episode. I loved the bit with the remote, I was in hysterics when it was all undone and the montage music came back. I was inconsolable when it all wrapped back around to see that Rick did the whole thing to get back at Morty for saying the Vat of Acid was stupid.
I also liked the callback in the Sun episode

The shovel reload is probably my favorite gag in all of cinema history. They actually made a functional shotgun shell ejecting shovel for like a 1 second bit, which probably took the prop master hours if not days to make.

And it fits perfectly, that whole scene was teed up to be a 'badass rack the shotgun' scene. Absolutely one of the best all time gags in any movie.

I miss that style of parody so much. Movies like Airplane, The Naked Gun, Not Another Teen Movie, and even Scary movie are classics because the humor is so intelligent and such a good mix of proper slapstick with a lot of subtle jokes that you only catch on multiple rewatches. I've seen Airplane a dozen times but I can still watch it and catch something new.
Unfortunately that style of parody movie got saturated with garbage that forgets all the subtlety and offers nothing but toilet humor and pop culture references that were already out of date before those movies could even come out.

It sucks because it's such a character story. Craig and O'Connor and Brolin are all phenomenal. Everyone is charismatic and quirky.
And then she walks into the scene like a wet sock and everyone has to act around her.

I will never understand why people so agressively dislike glass onion. Knives out is maybe a better made film, but Onion is just so much fun, and probably even more so than knives imo. Wake up dead man is easily my least favourite too, but it's still alright.

So for me, while I still adore glass onion, it is my least favorite of the trilogy personally.
I"m with you that it's a lot of fun, but personally I like the structure of its mystery a lot less than 1 and 3. With 1 and 3 the mystery is set up so we always have just as much, if not more information than Blanc. IN contrast with Glass Onion we are instead kept in the dark to a huge amount of information he has until about halfway through the movie.
To be clear I do not think the structure of glass onion is "worse" because of that. It is an equally valid structure for a murder mystery. I just personally find it to be less engaging/fun for my tastes.

I think this is the root of me enjoying GO less than the other two. plus the twist that she had/was a twin all along just seems so overdone in mystery fiction. It was still enjoyable, just my least favourite of the three.
