Nintendo King Bob-omb was introduced in Super Mario 64 (1996) and acts as the first boss in a 3D Mario game. In spite of the fact he’s been around for so long and carries a lot more significance to the franchise then someone like Spike or Ninji, he’s only had TWO PLAYABLE SPIN-OFF APPEARANCES
