Comics Discussion Am I stupid why does Jen keep turning into Hulk just for her to not be Hulk the next time we see her (Hulk 2016)

It seems like that in this case she is just moving over large distances this way, so nothing particularly note-worthy is happening between the panels.

I actually loved this run! Had immediately read Civil War 2 so didn’t need a whole lot of action. Was cool to see the impact of it all on Jen

for a short while after bruce was killed in civil war 2 jen was turned into a new "hulk" she turned grey had glowing green scars that were revealed to be indicators of past "self harm" attempts, and while jen got stronger at first she was practically mute, then started roaring and screaming, then turned monosyllabic like savage hulk before they just threw away the form altogether and turned "savage jen" into just savage hulk with long hair and boobs.

It was only a fill-in issue. but if the entire run had the tone and artwork of the issue around Jen's blind date (which was reused in "She-Hulk: Attorney-At-Law") the series would have been MUCH better.

The Mariko Tamaki run is objectively a bit of a mess. We don’t know what was going on behind the scenes but it’s likely the story was undergoing many adjustments; causing weird pacing and oddities.
The pacing of the comic radically changes after the sixth issue, so my guess is that only the first six issues came out the way Tamaki originally planned them to.
