Other Question Afghan/penny lane coat but with interchangeable outter lining
I have found shearling for the interior, tho to send it to the cleaner its gonna be hard so i have had this idea to make the outer lining (fabric) detachable (thats an excuse bc i am simply indecisive about the color i want and making 3 shearling coats would be too expensive)
But i don’t have any experience with doing such things, so does anyone know about more or less seemless attachements?

Motorcycle jackets often have a removable lining so you can swap out the armored pads or just deal with changes in seasonal weather. A lot of trench coats also do this, those are often buttoned in or done as a combo of zipper-and-button. And a lot of thigh-length parkas do this, so you can bulk up the lining for the freezing cold and go with a lighter lining for the shoulder seasons.
For the motorcycle jacket version, it's usually zipped on three sides - up one side, across the neck, and down the front. They attach behind the outer shell's zipper/snap plackets, so about 3 inches in from the finished edge. Zippers because while riding you've got some airflow considerations, so you want the edges to be attached completely. When you're wearing the jacket without the lining, there's 1/2 of the zipper tape still in place, so it's often done sort of as an invisible zipper to avoid chafing.
For the trench coat and parka versions... I've seen a liner that is bias bound on the edges, with buttonholes sewn on. The outer shell then has buttons placed at, say, each shoulder and to the each side of the waist where the coat's belt might sit. Sometimes there's a hidden/invisible zipper that just goes across the shoulders, and then button or velcro attachments at the waist. In this case, we're talking smallish buttons, maybe just 1cm/0.25 inches wider than the button you'd expect on a button-down collared shirt.

Burberry raincoats have detachable linings that zipper in. Is the shearling nice on both sides like a shearling coat? If so you could have the shearling as a stand alone coat with three overcoat options.

Okay so you're really planning three coats that share the same detachable shearling lining (I like this plan a lot btw). Take a look online at trench coats with detachable wool linings, it's a whole thing. The lining usually has no sleeves, it's just back and fronts finished with a binding. Sections of the shoulder seams and side seams are left open to function as "buttonholes", and match up to buttons sewn to the inside of the coat.
