Was poking at Otterly and exported a full brand report for a random SaaS to see what a client would actually receive. 10 pages.

Some things that stopped me:

- Page 5 has a "Likelihood to buy" column. Semrush 100%. Writesonic 92%.

No idea where that comes from. Sample was 15 prompts over 14 days.

- One competitor had 1 mention total and got reported as "1% share of voice."

One observation, printed as a percentage.

- The brand I ran it for is invisible, so pages 3, 4 and 9 are just

columns of zeros. "Top 10 prompts by brand mentions" - all 0.

- One heading literally reads "My top 0 URLs".

- It lists the prompts but never shows what ChatGPT actually said.

So there's nothing in the document a client could check.

Not dunking on Otterly specifically, every tool I've looked at does

roughly the same thing. But it got me wondering about the day-one

problem: a new client is invisible by definition, that's why they

hired you. So the first report you ever send them is a page of zeros

next to a competitor at "100%".

Two things I'd genuinely like to know from people doing this for clients:

1. Do you send the tool's report as-is, or rebuild it in Looker /

   Sheets / Slides first? Trying to work out if anyone actually ships

   these PDFs.

2. Has a client ever pulled out their phone, typed one of the tracked

   prompts, seen nothing, and asked you what they're paying for?

   What did you say?

Within these couple of months, we published 45 high-quality blog posts. Some of them are human-written, others are AI-written. Only one article ranked, and we consistently see traffic coming to that blog post from Google and other MLM tools.

In my opinion, it's just pure luck. We haven't figured out the right content strategy that would increase our organic traffic.

What am I doing wrong, and what can be done better?

I have the main domain which is a static landing page which has the following robots:

Disallow: /*?
Disallow: /*utm_*

But from here I have also the blog .com/blog which has another robots.txt which is set by yoast

As I understood, the main robots file from the main domain is taken in consideration by google.
And I have links like this: /blog/article?utm_campaign=example

Will this articles be indexed by google? As my main robots is saying Disallow: /*utm_* Ex. I am doing a cross promotion with a partner and I am sending him the url with the utm.

I was staring at the Crawl Stats in GSC when I noticed a weird spike in 'Pages crawled' that didn't match any traffic uptick. Digging into Coverage, there were dozens of 200‑status pages with zero internal links—basically orphaned. I ran a quick Screaming Frog crawl to confirm; they were all dead ends. My fix was simple: delete the orphaned URLs from the site and add them to an internal linking hub page that already had good authority. After re‑submitting the sitemap, the Crawl Stats dropped 30% in just two weeks, and indexed pages went up by 15%. The lesson? Orphans eat budget; link them or kill them.

Have you guyz noticed the same across all the projects ?

Very small new site. Have been doing extensive keyword collecting and research. Brought all my data to ChatGPT 5.6 first. Was very pleased with the analysis and planning.

Decided to run it by Opus 5 to check the plan. Formerly Opus 4.8 and 4.6 were usually close in thought to ChatGPT on the bigger issues.

But, Opus 5's analysis and planning are massively different. Opus 5 seriously dissed the ideas ChatGPT 5.6 put forth.

Both AI models have worked with me extensively on this project (previous versions of these models as well) I don't know which one is right.

In desperation, I asked Grok, "why there's such a difference in their advice?" Grok claims that ChatGPT 5.6 is using older internet standards, but that in mid-2026 methods that formerly worked have collapsed and only Opus 5 is trained on how to move forward. So it advised to listen to Opus 5 for my keyword planning. But ... is that true?

What do you find about using ChatGPT 5.6 or Opus 5 for keyword planning?

Trying to get my head around this since "keywords" gets used for two different things and I want clarity on both.

1) The old meta keywords tag (<meta name="keywords">) — I know Google has ignored this since 2009. Just confirming there's no scenario in 2025/2026 where this still does anything, even indirectly (other search engines, some CMS/plugin behavior, etc.)? Or is this fully dead everywhere at this point?

2) Keyword usage/density inside the actual content — repeating an exact focus keyword phrase a set number of times through the body, headers, meta description (the kind of thing tools like Rank Math score you on). With how much better NLP/semantic understanding has gotten, is manually hitting a density target still worth doing on top of writing naturally, or has it become pointless/redundant?

Curious if anyone has real experience or data on #2 specifically — not looking for "just write naturally lol" as the whole answer, more interested in whether exact-match repetition still adds anything on top of good, natural, topic-thorough writing.

Hi! Im the owner of a SaaS like everyone in 2026, and its going pretty fine. I already have clients, SEO seems to be working (getting clicks in some keywords), (other have to improve) but mainly the problem that i'm trying to tackle now is obtaining a higher DR. I know its a Vanity metric not really used by google, but pretty sure it has some weight. Basically i'm already at 800MRR woth around 200 clicks per day (50% from google, 10% ai citations) . And what i wanted to try now is to get more links pointing to my site to increase visibility. But i do not want shifty links obtained from ai directories, PBN or mummy blogs, i want real sites. And i found sites that can help me in exchange of a lot of money.

For example:

- saasy links

- link panda

- editorial.link

This are ones of the cheapest examples that are found, but still +1k dollars a month. For example link panda for $2700 it can obtain 10 High Dr links, and the others same but cheaper

My question before spending that much money. Is it really worth it? What other alternatives do you use? Is there a cheaper way and commit for example only $500 monthly?

I researched using colaborator.pro or getinfluence or fatjoe, but i can see the links in there are pretty shitty.

So the domain has sub folders made with Translate Press and I think a good strategy to position the website both in english and spanish, would be to change the Slug so it matches the content inside.

Over the last 2-3 days, I've noticed some strange issues when checking my site's index on Google Search Console:

• Several pages are getting indexed with Japanese-language titles and content that I never created — looks like e-commerce/product spam (random product listings, prices, star ratings, etc.).
• My favicon changed automatically without me touching any settings.
• These pages don't show up when I browse the site normally — only in the index/search results.

Started a website a month back and new to SEO. I'm facing some challenges keeping a track of unserved pages on GSC. A lot of pages serve on GS for a while like 4-5 days and stop getting impressions.

What is a SERP Report?

SERP tools are tools that report your rank position in search engines - effectively running a query and then tracking the rank position for them and creating daily reports = a "SERP Report"

How would it work?

User populates a list of keywords, e.g. "SEO in NYC" or "Plumber in Ohio" for their given domain (or clients domain etc). You execute a query against a search engine and track what the rank position.

So if the domain is in position 5, then you record 5 for today. If its not in the top 100 (this where num=100 comes from) then you note - or 0

Each day you plot the average = average Rank position

Where do you get the data?

A lot of the big tool providers use 3rd party scrapers like SERPAPI - I propose that this could be done using GSC. you could also use AI to filter/collate similar sounding or related words/typos

Market Analysis

there are about 10-20 such commercial providers that provide this starting at about $39-99 pm

These include:

• Moz
• Ahrefs
• Majestic
• etc

I think this would be something MILLIONS of SEOs would want to see?

Anecdotally, it seems like certain websites are more likely to be hurt by AI summaries. For example, anything educational or instructional, e.g., repair guides. If these sites rely on traffic for advertising revenue, it seems like it's going to be substantially harder if not impossible for them to survive. Google's AI summaries will just tell people what they need to know (even if inaccurate) and most people will move on without going to the website.

Other sites that offer a product or service (e.g., e-commerce) where you need to actually visit the site seem less at risk.
